I can’t help but feel a little sorry for Djenepo- probably doesn’t want to play in the role he is being asked to do. I don’t recall Mane ever doing a job at wing back or even having to do so.

Do we look a shadow of our former selves or are Chelsea just that good? This performance takes me back to the days where you go into games against the big teams with absolutely no chance- the gulf in class looks huge

Our two best players of the season out so far in Armstrong and KWP. (although JWP/Vestegaard may have something to say about the above) I would have preferred Adams to have started too but these are Ralph's choices

Yeah but they upped their intensity as all their front 3 were practically rested from the cup game- ours dropped off after playing Thursday and then again today We have to remember our players are not Mane, Salah or any other top player who does it week in week out in the PL and CL etc etc etc Our players are limited players incapable of producing twice a week- that’s why they play for us and not a top 6 team

The way I see it too- unless we had a Pep or a Klopp. Ralph has earned the chance to get us out of this rut.

I think with Ralph- we know Plan A works- its a good plan, but it is a plan that needs 110% from our players and when you have limited players like we do who don’t make it count when we are on top- then you always leave yourself exposed to an opposition comeback I know this is a congested season, but I get the feeling Ralph knows our team is limited technically so the only way to get results against teams is to outrun them. I’m not entirely sure what the solution is- do we coach a plan B into this team? What plan B is there when your players are both limited and leggy/tired?
