  1. Can anyone confirm the last time we played in the rain and won? We are literally a team who don’t know how to weather a storm. Shelvey should have made it 4-1 ffs
  2. I for one am glad Forster will be given the chance to start next game- Macca that was a terrible pass
  3. OMG shocking
  4. MINAMINO WHAT A GOAL AND TOUCH!!
  5. Dare I say it- do we need to go to a back 5 in the next game to shore up our defence again? It worked when we were under wretched form under Koeman, but it isn’t looking promising too many times their wingers are finding space and joy
  6. Last season Danny would score that... Good play from Adams!
  7. They are slicing through us easily- why don’t our attackers seem to find the sort of space the opposition have against us- Are our attackers slow? is it the lack of pace at fullback, especially without KWP? This wasn’t a problem during our good spell in the season- have these injuries caused our players to lose that sharpness?
  8. Oh dear joe willock scores
  9. Wilson offside
  10. Tella AND Salisu back on bench! Otherwise very happy with that team so glad to have Jannik back for us As long as Stephens can avoid stupid passes and leave it to Jannik to do that- no reason not to be confident- although our attacking players need to step it up a fair few have been off form.
  11. Interesting- reckon it is Salisu. Ralph wouldn't lie to us after ruling Armstrong out
  12. 100% agree - it's the away games I will miss the most too. Yet, sadly, I think the away fans will be the last ones back in! I just don't see it happening until mid-2022.
  13. I see Josh King is on the bench tonight for Everton. Was he signed before the midday cutoff? Otherwise how is he allowed on the bench yet we couldn’t have Minamino? Just because we played Tuesday and they play tonight? Mind you- not that it would have made much difference to the affairs last night
  14. Yep and the stills above don’t even show how the incorrect frame was being used as the ball is blurred as to when it left the free kick takers feet. My fear is it gets brushed over because we were losing ‘4-0’ anyway but that’s not the principle and it definitely had an effect on us mentally. I hope this game is a watershed for the way VAR is used or something because it has definitely made the headlines. The quote from Steve Coppell and for any of the butterfly theorists come to mind after Pool destroyed Palace “the first was offside and the second was a foul, and if they hadn’t got those then they wouldn’t have got the other seven!” Each moment in isolation has huge implications
  15. This comes to mind
  16. yeah tbf I am more willing to believe Adam Blackmore over Carl
  17. Does anyone know whether you can also appeal decisions which are made by VAR? As technically it’s been looked at already?
  18. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/10710684/watch-nathan-redmonds-red-card-was-harsh-says-jamie-redknapp i’m sure there are plenty more but I am certain he has it in it for us
  19. Last time around all the players donated 1 day’s wage to Saint Foundation I think. I wonder if the same will happen for tonight.
  20. We can say it was stupidity etc etc but no need for abuse keep it civil.
  21. I only hope so- my big fear is the the red card stands because they don’t want to upset their mate Mike and tell him he got it wrong! Anyone know how long these appeals take, and who makes the decision to overturn? Is it the PL or PGMOL etc etc that look into it?
  22. Which reply is this sorry? Just had a read
  23. No this is a pointless thread we’re all unanimous. He shouldn’t resign but I wouldn’t be surprised if he did
  24. ‘1-0 down on the pitch with academy players on the pitch but its not their fault’ ’what hurts the most is the second red card’ ’its not about the referee but it was a stupid tackle from the young lad’ ^^ Ralphs words from the MOTD interview
