Samaras story smacks of agent ********. Firstly, I can't believe that the situation is that bad that we have to go for someone who has been aggressively mediocre throughout their entire career and secondly, that said player wouldn't jump at the chance of playing for ANY Prem team after being released by Celtic (whose good players have/might join us - do we really want their rejects?)

As well as Clyne, the 3 of them all ready seem to be reading each other's game well and look like they complement each other quite nicely - only friendlies, I know, but still a beacon of hope for the season ahead if we can forge an exciting, dynamic partnership there!
