The trouble with Armstrong is yes, he scored important goals, but he missed far far more. I remember on here the jokes about him constantly scuffing shots which he had a habit of doing, plus his penalties were either unstoppable or a joke. This coupled with his inability to perform in the prem, not that it is an issue now, just leaves me feeling his time here has past.

I am literally done with this lot. Give me a shout when we have a side worth supporting, and that comes from someone who has supported saints since the age of six and is now 69.

Teams seem to be well prepared to cope with our style of play. They know that we will hit them hard in the first half but they also know we will tire quickly in the second. I saw little panic in the West Brom game even though they were 3-0 down and they were unlucky not to save the game. We are a one trick pony at the moment and need to change it up. Get the guys fitter and be a bit more savvy with formation and subs as nothing seems to change when we make sub changes second half.

Having watched some dire football from us for a few years now, the Charlton game was was a breathe of fresh air. Even when we were promoted under RM some of the football was uninspiring. I also like Eckhert's lack of histrionics, it's if he is a long way off being satisfied with what he is seeing. I was against him getting the full time job but after such a good start I agree with others with giving the Job to him until the end of the season and then evaluate, he deserves that.

Just hope that we don't pull off another sensational headline grabber by losing 6-5.

I've seen dogs eat their own vomit but SR are taking this a stage further if they reappoint RM. Do they not fekin realise that he is responsible for a lot of the shit we are in now, and if this happens they are eating it.

Surely with our form continuing from what was a truly dire last season last season, we must be heading towards breaking another embarrassing record. Since those two fekin 9 goals against under Ralph the embarrassment has gone from bad to worse. I'm sure saints will find plenty more ways to inflict hurt upon it's long suffering fans.
