  1. Interested to know if anybody else's work has been directly affected by the brexit decision? We have had around 3-4 major projects for different customers postponed or cancelled, and their reason has been 'brexit uncertainty'. Obviously this has directly affected our revenue and therefore profitability. Keen to hear if this has affected others.
  2. What is the 'right wing' consensus on the 3 issues highlighted above, and what do the 'right wing' feel should be done to resolve them?
  3. Had a good laugh at that... then realised it was true. Come on though, it can't be all bad, I know a few kippers and none of them are lobbying for incandescent lightbulbs. I mean, they are racists obviously, but... well.. umm..
  4. Or alternatively... http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-northern-ireland-referendum-irish-unity-sinn-fein-second-scottish-independence-indyref2-a7628591.html
  5. I dont really agree with this, however I always find it amusing when JWP is stood over a free kick and the commentators are using words like 'dangerous' or 'specialist' or 'beckham-esque'. Not really justified on performances thus far.
  6. I was the same, fit and healthy, think I did the damage through heavy landscaping. I think the worst of it will fade fairly quickly, but you may be left with lingering symptoms for a while. I never had excruciating pain, mine was always some pain but mainly nausea / dizziness. Had an MRI on my insurance, as they thought it could be a possible Syrinx, thank Christ it wasn't. No surgery, just prolonged discomfort. Didn't take any time off work in relation to it, but often felt very unwell. The body is very good at healing these things over time though, thought I'd have to live with it forever, but had been much better over the last few months. Good luck, and get an MRI if you can. Very worthwhile.
  7. I have a partially slipped disk on one of the vertebrae close to the skull. The disk is pressing on the spinal chord slightly and results in dizziness, and some pain. It's taken about 2 years (sorry) to get to the point where I don't really notice it any more. First year was very unpleasant, mainly after long drives. I found physio helped temporarily, but it came back after a few days. Seems to be significantly better over the past 6 months thankfully.

    Budget

All the self employed (it contractors) I know will just put their day rates up to account for it. So businesses will just end up paying more for services. The people who it will hit will be those self employed who can least afford it - hairdressers etc. Personally, I'm PAYE and about 40 quid better off a month apparently. Would have quite happily kept paying the same and had a functioning NHS or education system. Hey ho.
  9. Can't see him going yet. 1 more year imo.

  15. Tadic and gabbi seem to moan at each other a lot, but they seem to be well suited to playing together, we could end up with an interesting partnership there
  16. Okaka is a moaning twát isn't he?
  17. 70% possession for us in the first half apparently...

  19. What a ****ing fantastic team goal. Redmond full of energy today
  20. Lovely move, shame he was offside
  21. It doesn't matter if you accidentally kick someone in the face or not when your foot is at head height, it's obviously dangerous play.
  22. Nice. **** me, what a mess.
