Not that bothered at losing him, but selling our captain to a direct competitor is an embarrassment. Where is the replacement? Anybody lined up, or do we limp on until the summer?

I have seen him perform well a handful of times, and on those occasions he has played positive football, tackled well, and looked very disciplined. However most of the time he is slow, indecisive and cautious. Perhaps it's an age and maturity thing, perhaps as he grows up he will find his confidence and become a good player. As it is, he doesn't warrant a place in the starting lineup.

Generally good performance, but no bite, no apparent will from anyone to bust a gut getting into decent offensive positions, and a weak, weak keeper.
