He had success with Plymouth before though didn't he? I am not supporting his appointment here but I thought he was seen as a rising star rather than a falling egg sarnie at the time.

WGS gave him the thumbs up though.

Some borders may be easier to cross than others. I was just pointing out that our border is not that easy to cross. Ok? -

I went to Paris recently. I didn't just wander over there. My passport was checked a couple of times and my bags were checked. I wouldn't say it is a free for all although clearly if you have access to fake passports it is easier. I still don't think it is that easy to move guns and ammunition around. -

Limiting migration to who exactly? What would be your criteria for letting the lucky ones in? -

And herein lies the problem. A massive religion with all kinds of diversity within it, but it becomes defined by a small number who have nothing to do with the main and peaceful element. It doesn't take much for things to be misinterpreted to suit an agenda. Earlier I brought up the cartoon that was in the Daily Mail today because it underlines what all too many are thinking right now. It was good to see that social media have picked up on it and have mirrored it to a similar Nazi cartoon about the Jews from the 30s. It doesn't seem to have caused much concern here though. I have also received a number of requests on Facebook asking me to sign a petition to ban the burka as they represent a security risk! WTF? More so than hoodies and balaclavas and raincoats? People with guns and bomb vests are a security threat. They can be hidden under all kinds of clothing cant they? -

Not nice and unnecessary. Well that's something I suppose. Oh, and I am not the least embarrassed and am really not bothered by you calling me names. -

You really are starting to show your true colours now aren't you? Good, we are making progress. It has everything to do with this thread. Have you seen it and if so what are your thoughts please? -

So then my happy little band of campers, no mention so far of the cartoon in the Daily Mail? How do well all feel about that? -

Probably not, given that Muslims die in terrorists attacks too. What do you think? -

Dear God, seriously give it a rest. It is here but you have chosen to ignore it which is what I am going to do with you now for the sake of all poor bastards who have put up with this all day long. -

How old are you? Squinny squinny? Please grow up. There was no crying as far as I can see and although someone said I am not sure anybody actually said that I got the impression from some posters that they weren't seeing it or hearing it and therefore it wasn't a big issue. That was the impression I got. You can question it all you like but we are all entitled to an opinion (or a squinny in your parlance). I am sure you carry your opinions elsewhere, why wouldn't you? They aren't the sole right of an internet football forum. So any thoughts on the rest of the survey or aren't you interested in how British Muslims feel unless you can make capital out of it? -

So, still no comment on the fact that 10% of British male Muslims and 20% of British Muslim women don't feel safe here. Seems odd given how much it kicked off on here with the other survey figures yestrerday. Fits in with the guy who made a comment about a Muslim woman have 15 kids and no one challenging him but when I said the same thing about a Christian woman in Ashford having 15 kids I get picked up for lying and making things up. -

Almost right Whelk. I think the best of people when they haven't given me any reason to think that they have done anything wrong. -

Welcome back Whelk, yes I do, thanks for asking. It has been a tough day but I live in the hope that one of the cabal will respond to the BBC poll as published (not to the two figures that were selected first off).
