So why reply to it then? It might be for you but not for me. Some years ago I exchanged views with a long term supporter who said he would rather we get relegated than Lowe stay in charge. I am curious about the mindset of people who put their feelings of individuals before the well being of the club. I am intrigued by the thought process. We are in the sh*t and I don't like this bloke so I will go on a march. We are in the sh*t but I don't hate this bloke as much as the other bloke so I won't march.

I don't think we will fade away. If we survive this season I think we have a reasonable chance of doing better next year. If we go down and don't find a buyer I expect we shall stay down for several years. Lowe is not the biggest problem, lack of real cash is.

Offix, Alpine made a choice to go and live in Austria. As far as I know, no one held a gun to his head. If he was to give his right arm now he would have the most terroble skiing accident because has chosen to be on the piste rather than go to St Marys (and who can blame him to be honest?)

But we did spend money on players. Some of those players are still playing in the Premiership but were royally slagged off on here (Kevin Davies, Danny Higginbotham and Rory Delap - who cost a fortune to name but three). We had a large squad with experienced players. Strachan bought us such stars as McCann remember? The lose of Killer (and Beattie for some time, plus injuries to other key players) were bigger factors IMHO. Once Killer was out Claus lost the plot and was only replaced by Davenport when Redknapp had £6m to spend.

I think you underestimate how thick the bloke's skin is. I could be wrong but I think he is more likely to dig in even deeper. He has faced abuse for years and it hasn't made the slightest bit of difference. Most normal people would have bailed years ago, but he actually came back knowing full well he was as welcome as a t*rd in a swimming pool!!!

If that is the way you see it Wes fair enough. I have never been negative about the club but if by not slating the CEO, the manager of whoever on every occasion make me a negative sod then I am happy to be what I am mate.

Again you fall into the trap of thinking that those who don't slag off Lowe support him or everything he does. Not everything is black and white but it seems on here it has to be.

Alpine forsees doom and gloom every season. He even did it when we were in the play off fight. Oh, and I love it when people who do not have a clue what goes on behindclosed doors make these statements. From something concrete, the wage bill was unsustainable which meant if we had carried on as we were we would have been stuffed months ago.

Lets face it Delmary, in the very unlikley event us us getting promoted an winning the Premier League, the fans (or a fair proportion of them) will never get behind Lowe.

Ginge, apparently Have have to go and sit by a log fire and drink some wine with my lovely partner, so I will leave you with this. I didn't believe that Lowe would ever come back, but he has. I didn't want that to happen but it has. I would rather have someone esle here but they are not. Given a choice between Lowe and Cowen running the show and Loen Crouch I would prefer Lowe and Cowen. Come the end of the season I might well reget saying it but there you have it. If that makes me a Luvvie, a moron or whatever, the that's fine. But I for one just want to get behind the club and see it out of this mess. Because it was in the Echo it was true was it? Didn't occur to you that the story could have been planted. I didn't read it in that bastion of truth, the Echo, but I have read elsewhere from reasonably reliable sources that if Crouch had stayed the backers would have pulled the plug. I am not staking my life on it but I am sure it has just as much validity as something plnated in the Echo. Cast your mind back, didn't Wilde also give us the impression that he had money behind him when he took over???

I want to see the end to this bickering. Like Lowe or not he is in the driving seat and he has plan. We are stuck with Lowe and Wilde and Wotte until the end of the season probably. I would like to see them and the club given support. If we end up by staving off relegation and administration I think they should continue until a buyer is found. It saddens me but I think there are a lot of people who will be happy to see the club implode just because of their hatred of one man.

Okay Ginge, I'll bite. Feel free and go and find the post where I nail my colours to Lowe's mast. In my book he is just a bloke doing a job. Since he has been here I have agreed with somethings and disagreed with others. Like most blokes doing a job I think he does what he thinks is right. Like most blokes doing a job what he thinks is right is not always seen as right by others. If that makes me a "Luvvie" sobeit if it makes you happy. So who are the others?
