Why don't you just contribute to the topic, I clearly do not mention Redmond in every post, read through them on just this topic alone and you will see I don't. The way I see it is, deep in your head, right at the back, there is this little voice, this little voice is telling you that you need to some how try make others feel small cause you bring no creditable evidence that says Redmond/ Moi are / can assist more than JWP who is already and still ahead of both and yet has had just 1 start and has not featured on the team for 6 games now and still has contributed more than both wide players that currently start In the team, not only this, but are left back has contributed more than are wingers, even are 2 central mids have at least scored a goal and provided assists. but its ok. we will just like last season, carry on doing the same crap hoping to get different results and then blame all the players who hardly played and who performed better than first team starters yet the starters keep playing and playing and playing, and still we fail to score of any thing these wide players provide with the brilliant mesmerising dribbling and running they do. some questions for you what is the quickest way to get the ball into the penalty area? What is the least direct and time consuming way to get the ball into the area? how many free kicks and corners in the league have been scored from? How many defensive splitting dribbles we seen so far from all teams in the league? again same question but pass in stead of dribbling? Why do we have some of the biggest central defenders in the league, push them up for corners, yet have the worsts corner / free kick takers trying to provide a cross for them to try score of while we keep one of the best set pieces takers in the league off the team? If you ran right at a wall and smashed your face of it, how many times will you keep trying to do it before you try go round the wall or over it or even under it?

Careful, you are not allowed to say such things on Sainstweb forum, not cause its against the forum rules, but just because the people that don't attend games and only watch match of the day highlights don't like him. If I remember rightly, we did turn down two approaches for JWP before the season started, 2 diff teams and both are currently above us in a table, and unlike Saints fans, both Watford and Burnley fans wanted him to join them respectfully. Amazing thing is, that its only Saints fans that don't rate him yet in tabloids and stuff, he was one of the key players for us last season and help keep us up more than Redmond, yet is shat on by the club and its fans.

Yes but most of the shots are not good shots more like hit n hopes, and neither are the chances, which is why you have a stat called clear cut chances which are meant to mean chances that should be scored / embarrassing misses. we also have 1 of the lowest clear cut chances created.

When he has a run of games he always plays well, when he comes on here n there for 10 - 15 mins he plays poorly, but so do most players. Only time I have seen JWP get a run of games is when Tadic was injured when MP 2 was in charge and he played well scoring a wonderful free kick and getting 3 assist in them 3 games, he went on to get more assists than Redmond and Tadic and out scores Redmond, for a so called sh it player. I think he does quite well.

Just saying before the witch hunt starts..... I am not saying JWP is better than Redmond, different players. Am just asking the question why he does not start when he adds a different type of goal chance for the team than just running and dribbling. it really is not rocket science to have more options of scoring on the pitch than doing the same thing time and time and time again that we have done for 2 seasons + 9 games now with the same crap results.

Not sure, Redmond has taken pretty much every free kick and corner and has yet to register an assist or even put the ball into an area a Saints player managed to get on the end of, or even register a shot on target in a 810 min season so far from him, don't even get me started on Moi who is even worse so far although has yet to settle so can be forgiven. No one has or will say JWP will come in and suddenly start playing like a god...….. but what people can see, if for two season we struggle to score goals from open play, why do we not try to even try a different approach and add set pieces to are world famous dribblers?. its not like JWP is bad at free kicks and stuff, he is statistically one of the best in the league, yet all we want to do is run and dribble which after last season, the season before and 9 games this season has proved to be rather ineffective? unless you are going to tell me 6 goals in 9 matches is good? People can hide from stats all they want, A few weeks ago, Cabbage face was sprouting out how JWP should assist more than Redmond cause he takes all the free kicks and corners ( From the bench ) and played less than half the mins Redmond managed but out assisted and out scored him. Redmond has taken every free kick and corner in what 7 games with Moi doing it in 1 game and instantly got dropped from the responsibility yet we have not created a single chance from a set pieces apart from at Everton in which we created 4 solid chances and Ings got his first goal for us, is it not a surprise to know that JWP played that game? No one says drop Redmond, no one says drop Moi, people are saying that we should go back to a 4231 / 433 and have Redmond Ings and Moi as the front 3 with JWP Lemina and HOJ playing mid leaving out Austin / Long, as this gives us more control in the middle of the park ( Which seems to get over run in every game so far this season ) and also gives us a chance at scoring from set plays. I don't care either way who plays, looks like we are in for a relegation battle any way, least we have are super duper wingers with pace and dribbling skills to provide all the chances and score all the goals.

Don't think he would have changed much tbh, but he would have done more than Moi managed in the full game, Least Redmond would not have been taking corners n free kicks, how many assists and goals he got from them so far this season ( as the new dedicated free kick and corner taker, you did say JWP should beat Redmond on assists as he took them all last season ( From the bench ), Redmond is now but still yet to get an assist in EPL football all free kicks corners 0 shots on target 0 assists ). But again I don't think it would have changed much, would have been more dangerous on set pieces but still same rubbish results in open play. with the free kicks and corners we put into the box, have more chance of an own goal from the half way line than a goal from a corner

I just cant figure out why any one would include teams that get relegated ( Rivals for us in the championship ) that was in receipt of huge parachute payments, Like brum, West ham, , Blackpool, burnley, Hull, Portsmouth, Blackburn. Bolton and wolves. That was like half the championship when we won promotion to the prem who had more money to spend cause off EPL money. ( But Portsmouth as they was bankrupt mind, but still got more money that season than us.

Ok cant help it, The 2 Seasons West ham was in the championship, they lived off parachute payments, so as they get more money than every one in the league for that season, its wrong to include them as they are still in receipt of EPL TV funds, while we was not., I gave you a table on all clubs that had NOT played in the EPL during are rise from league 1 to the prem, we out spent every one but relegated clubs from the EPL ( Which is just obvious and cant believe that I need to explain that to you ). I did exclude prem clubs for a reason.... So ill brake it up for tiny brains, From league 1, - 10 points till promotion to the championship, we spent the most money, From the championship to the prem we spent the 4th most money even though 6 clubs had parachute payments from the EPL . take out that parachute payments which is worth around 40 - 60 million, we out spend every one. we was in debt when we got promotion to the EPL ( Again ). we had not made a single penny during this period and was over 50 million in debt ( Which is why Cortese was sacked ).
