the CVA not being serviced was due to the fact your club did not really try to get into a position to do so. I agree that the creditors signed up to it, but many were Pompey fans and so took the knock. So much ducking and diving by the administrator and playing with the figures to stop the HMRC having a proper say saved you.Morally your club is in the sewer, but i could not say that if I had the choice of how you have had all the good years and still come out alive, I would not wish for the same at SMS. We have tried to do it the proper way but that will not give us the keys to the PL, it could well be the clubs with the more unsavoury owners WHU Brum and yourselves who are battling to get back to the PL

so 2 more players have arrived and Halford later this week. They are going to be quite strong by the time the season starts.None are world beaters but all decent for our league and will be difficult to beat.

Remember when HR's house was raided and the press were there waiting to film it, perhaps this was done to hacking as well

If you recall he did say at one time he doesnt post from home as his wife didnt like him using the computer, I doubt he would be allowed to use her ipad.

I think it is best to wait and see for a bit longer yet. I am surprised that we have yet to get any players in. If there is STILL a 5 year plan surely the squad should be strengthened to help that mantra

the administrator was a very clever operator. Of course there is no incentive to get 3m in players sales and so any payments can be sidestepped for as long as possible.

Im would think he'd be ok in our league.

Poyet IMO is a good judge of a player.

I saw a documentary once where it showed Africans setting net traps to catch them as they were on the migration path back to the UK. We had a lot turn up at our new abode, luckily i managed to knock their nests off the wall and bbq them.........only kidding. We have had loads here -
who is Spade face? POF ?

Oh ,I see. If that is all it would be cheaper to pay someone to take it away, a skip will cost quite a bit

OOOOOOhhhhhhhh dear you're in trouble she's not Russian. Phil will have to go to the playground and ask her

it depends on what quality and condition the items are. If they are worn and tired you will have trouble and charity is your best bet. If you have a second hand shop close by and you can get them to offer, my advice would be take the money. If you value your time the extra you may get a little more by trawling the stuff around, but it may not be worth it. Especially if you need to rent a van. There is the E-Bay or Preloved route but you wont get rid of it all. The other option is to call a local auctioneer, they will take most things although there are costs.

you do have a young fiance though. Is it true she was caught up in her skipping rope when you first met her? I did notice a look of, why the f### did I walk in just as he wanted that moved. Lol

I think of all the posts on this thread anothersaintinsouthsea's has to be the best. It should have its own Golden post status.

Is it the councillors who set each and every wage? I do vote but none of the politicians seem to be able to grasp the nettle. We had 10 years of the Labour party relaxing the purse strings and whilst i love the NHS , the chicken is coming home to roost.

it is a terrible state of affairs. I can't see a way out of this, unless higher contributions are made by the staff
-
Amazing, but why are we surprised, afterall the councils dont have to earn money they just up parking charges or council tax. Not that I blame the binmen, it is the management who agree to these terms.

As if you could resist putting your name up on here Lol.

Have Pompey won a game or something? I only wondered as Ho is back. Lord Lucan and Shergar have made more appearances than he has in the bad times lol

Colville is a Kent at the best of times. It is about time we made thing advantageous for us when at home. I don't know what we will do if we ever play on a seamers wicket When we played the other night I thought Nasser was keen for us to lose as his beloved Essex would gain.
