Alfie House is another good journo BTW. I do wonder if any of the Saints journos would have asked the Boro manager 'are you a cheat?' if the boot was on the other foot, as the Boro twat did to Tonda as I beieve they are too well behaved.

Yes thats good for you to be asked to go on lots of shows, but perhaps you could show a bit more passion defending Saints instead of being Mr Too nice guy. The fans and the club needed defending but IMO you followed the Boro narrative and went against us. I cant believe how our own people havejoined in the bashing. We are a family and its ok for us to criticise our own but when others from outside do, you defend them to the last. You are obviously making plenty of money doing your thing, but dont bite the hand that feeds you as one false step and it will crash around you. I feel passionate about the whole situation and it is something that I will flare up about, as Saints are important in my life and I will defend them. Yes they have done something ridiculously stupid and needless but by going out there to the wider world and agreeing with the biased sentiments you are harming our club and us. Listen to Nick Illinsworth on Solent the other week (I dont know him btw) he showed the passion and fight that we as a fan base needed not mealy mouthed stuff.

Glen de la Cour has been giving it as well, didnt think twice of wearing a spys outfit when it broke. The only 2 people who have fought our corner are Granty, and Nick Illingsworth IMO

Im glad theclub has come out fighting, too long have we bent over trying to be a homely club while others kick us. If we sacked all the staff,all the players etc etc fans are always going to call us cheats. Personally I believe that when oppo fans sing to us being cheats it will goad our home fans into defieance and help lift the atmosphere at games.We are Saints and we are a family

It was world news European footballer of the year joining Saints. Sadly he left under a cloud. He was in the Echo asking for us to buy season tickets and was going to be here, but then moved to Newcastle.

To be fair with a speeding ticket you know the fines are set, I doubt anyone in football would feel that expulsion would be the penalty, especially after the first one issued gave a minimal penalty

Im sorry but I feel you are taking this a bit far. National and international shame!! lol. No most fans of other clubs in the UK laugh at it and the comical way it was handled by us. Listen to respected foreign journalists on the BBC they think it is hilarious and came up with lots of instances of this happening all the timein Europe, where it is commonplace, they just shrugged it off. Other ex-pros who know it happens all the time, we have been hit too hard and thrown to the wolves. Iam not condoning cheating as I hate it but I dont see the way we are laying there and taking extra kickings without defending ourselves being the best way. I feel there is a section of the fanbase that is a bit precious, as Ive stated before my Saints have been involved in many disappointing episodes in the nearly 60years Ive been supporting us, and this breach is not that great IMO. We are victims of a superbly run agenda by Boro and Gibson who used his fanboys in the press up there to really go for it, and perhaps using them to gain an advantage by putting pressure on the club leading up to those games. Yes we broke the rules, why we bothered at that time was the crime in my eyes, as it wasnt needed. I do wonder if Tonda is right on the spectrum and needs to be sure, and sure again when making his plans for games. An obsession that made him lose his focus what is right or wrong. Finally if fans are worried about away fans calling us cheats next season, it wont matter who is in charge we will get it anyway, as much as its unpaletable

Surely if the players and staff were against him he'd be gone by now.The fans look to be split 50-50 but a well thought out apology, a few players giving their support, us buying a couple of players (Peretz?) and that split will become far more favourable. Nick Illinsworth gave a strong support of Tonda on the Solent pod a week or so ago, Granty also just need a fewmore of themouthpieces come onside and we will unite again.

Sounds wonderful but there is the tricky subject of finance. We cant keep all those players, we need money to come in to cover our losses. I suspect some players would have gone even if we had gone up.

I think we are still a great family club and always will be. In my time watching Saints I have lived through quite a few unsavoury back and front page revelations, Higgins (who was there under 2 of our most cherished heroes), Grobbelaar match fixing, the rape incident in Sweden, stories of brown envelope payments, how the younger players were treated by the senior pros in the 70's there will be others Im sure that Ive forgotten. These all are worse IMO than sending an intern with an iphone to get info.

I cant believe fans think they should have refunds on games they've attended. We attended the games and received the entertainment expected. The club will be under extreme financial pressure and cant afford freebies. As for Scott Parker pleaaaaaaaase!!!

I want Parsons to stay, outside of the playing side he has been shrewd and got extra income in. Very important, especially whre we are today

Ive been chatting to my Boro friend and he said something I havent seen elsewhere. He said both clubs are tainted as if Boro win it will always be said that they didnt really win, and only did so by being given the bye. He feels like me none have come out of this well.
