So Pep being in a doping incident when he was a player (eventually cleared) has been forgotten, I doubt many know about it as his later achievements overshadow this. Tonda has a decade or so to make this irrevelent or low in the headlines. It will take a longtime of course and the TV etc will always bring it up aka 9-0

Hes not the face for TV ffs

Great to see Rambo celebrating as well, hugging the players

I didnt hear that!! Personally I feel hes a brilliant commentator, but I dont like how he is not defending our club on the media, but he's got to give an unbiased position, shame others dont. As for a stain on Saints reputation, I dont give a flying as I'm tired of being the club that rolls over to have its tummy tickled, opposition fans dont really give a jot about us, they just want to come to SMS have a great day 3 points and leave, well now its not like that anymore and long may it be. And our club has many other more shameful things, as do all others, Bob Higgins being the biggest stain of all

Well perhaps if Leeds were kicked out as we were then the media may mention it all the time. Leeds got treated lightly and we got treated heavily. It didnt help that the Northern journos got their say and ours couldnt, add to that Gibsons influence was important. Turns out that after the report by the FA it was not such a big thing and the EFL acted quickly and broke their own rules re 14 days, so to keep the Play off final and all the money in place.

Its amazing how the media have changed in the last 10 years or so. When I was 10 the Palestinians were seen as terrible as they were hijacking and blowing up passenger aircraft, murdering athletes at the Olympics, Entebbe etc etc. Now the media are anti Israel, not that Im sad about that, but there are 2 sides to this story, Hamas hae done hideous stuff and the Isrealis have done as much or more. It wont end sadly

The England team did the Nazi salute when we played Germany in that period

Or the Spanish inquisition .......

Parsons said we havespent millions on legal fees, what a waste if we come out of it with nothing. Shame they wasted a lot of money on the wrong lawyers initially

Fair but i suppose if you make no attempt to protect the valuables then you are foolhardy, but you are correct we brokethe rules. I will never understand why we needed to do it anyway!!!

If we had sacked him the club squad and fans morale would have been rock bottom. We were given the -4 points dection and had a new manager come in and smelt the club out we could have been in a relegation fight.

We did wrong but really if spying a teams training os so important why the hell is it so easy to go and watch. Im sure if you leave you house with the front door open and you get robbed the insurance compay wont look kindly on your actions. The whole episode stinks, the different stories, the state of the art spying equipment etc etc !!!

It still irks me that when I was about 11 playing in goal for a side, I let the ball go so that the ball was outside the area and then volley kicked it, the useless amateur ref ( a dad of the opponents ) gave it as handball. Itold him he didnt know the rules (it probably was Whitey lol 😀) Football was my life and so I knew these things, Im not sure but Rich Chorley was on my side that day I think.

I feel this is what inflames people. Then the RNLI get the brunt of it.

I totally understand the bit about saving lives at sea, but I thought the boats were in French territorial waters, one had broken down outside Calais? and the RNLI went and towed them to the UK. I thought when rescued at sea you are taken back to the port where you left. So of course save these people but they should be taken back to the port where they left, IF that is indeed the maritime law.

Also to mention he was a ref at one time lol 😀

Another good episode, worth a listen

Zulu (incredible bravery by both sides) The Darkest Hour (uplifting and brilliantly acted) Shawshank (incredible story) Gone with the Wind (just superb) Holy Grail (brilliant thought out and silly at the same time) Life of Brian (as above) I Swear (very sweet and sour film) Silence of the Lambs (what a tense and brilliant story)

It amazing how if the reports are correct that hes received 12m in payoffs, it doesnt matter he's quids in and can live a comfortable life without working again. The worlds gone mad

I agree to a degree, but actions are better than words and our transfer action at the end of the window did not match in any way to the words that were spoken.

I doubtmany did, but would have been a factor, his words gave us all a bit of hope and I believed that we would be quite strong in the window.

I read that Peretz made soe great saves, I dont know why people have all of a sudden decided he's no good

I was not a fan of signing JWP and whilst he has done Ok I wonder if his negative/safe passing will instill the same into the rest of the team. Its ok being tidy but somebody has to provide the thrust into the frontline. Signing him took the focus away from getting the powerful midfielder we really needed. I will add I didnt watch teh game to today but seeing JWP passing map and the fact we hd 60% possession but less XG shows how the game went

Just to rub things in lankshear has scored, Spurs may regret selling him

The arrogance that endears
