Im not sure about any candidates, but a little concerned re Still, as will he be focussed as his girlfriend is really unwell and that will of course be his no 1 priority. I recall the season Merrington was our manager his wife was unwell, he had a problem as his mind was elsewhere at times, we did stay up by the skin of our teeth that season. If I recall correctly he missed a game or 2 towards the end of season.

Saints 1-2 Arsenal - Thank F**k it’s All Over Thread
OldNick replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
I feel that the way the fans have taken the season the way we have is that we knew that the squad wasnt up to it and so accepted our fate. Abusing the owners is all well and good, but where does that get us. Ive seen many a fan shout abuse on the terraces, but when they come face face they almost get on their knees in reverence. Most fans are all talk -
It surprised me, bu I saw it online somewhere
-
Weve bought ours, so thats 4 sold
-
Im sorry but that is ridiculous, the header was not an easy chance, Archers was the easiest of the day, but took a great save to stop it

Which premier league Soccerball club will you support next season?
OldNick replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
Thats the thing with you Turks, you make so many thought provoking threads. Imgonna follow the team you do as you are so well informed that they are bound to win things -
I notice that Ings has gone to Watford!
-
So was I, also in Coventry, Watford, Sheffield, I made sure i covered all angles.

Intersting what Fernandes said after the game about being fitter (something like that) about training. RM didnt prepare us physically for the season, he didnt get players in who were anywhere near up to playing in this league. Sadly the muscle memory of the tippy tappy stuff is so ingrained now the players dont know how to play other ways, like forward!!!
-
god this was ages ago, but the case is had he gone down the chances were he would have got a penalty or gone to VAr to check. Anyway it doesnt matter now as we have ouur 12 points
-
Dias own goal would be funny. Who or what will he blame if they lose
-
If the reporting of what Spors said that the football he wants is closer to Klopp than Pep and watching Coventrythe other night it was more likened to Nathan Jones or Dyche. A lot of high balls. Not that im totally against

I was bored of seeing the same old names and poked the bear for a response lol
-
Robbie Savage has done well at Macclesfield (record points), he plays attacking football and will do good interviews.....the TV interviews has always been a must with the fanbase.
-
A risk not worth taking, I think the fans can stomach the 2nd lowest points total as they understood in the main the squad is not good enough, but to take on O'Neill would be a step too far.
-
O'Neill would be a disaster from first moment. Only have to see how the Leicester fans were with Cooper being ex Forest. Hiding to nothing and SR would be mad to snub the fans by taking him on, only have to see how 'Agent Harry' came into play, and after a few bad results the fans would be on him. We dont need this after the way things have gone the last few years Both Bournemouth and Wlves results and style of play improved after he left ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR ME
-
I meant Dam Ballard of Sunderland lol
-
Agree, before the game Iwas wondering whether Dam Ballard would be what we need, after last night I suggest many clubs will be alerted. Big strong just what is needed for the Championship
-
I feel time has clouded your judgement.
-
In my opinion he is like Frannie, wholehearted who loves the Saints neither were superb footballers but both gave their all
-
If he was appointed i think I would reconsider getting my s/t. Cant have a ex Pompey player , and he plays rubbish football anyway. Look at Wolves and Bournemouth he leaves and they both turn into better sides
-
Personally I feel he has done well on the commercial side, moving the away fans will in time be something we realise was a great move. The bars etc outside the ground have generated more finance for the club. The footballing side has been woeful, but I dont think he is responsible for that. It was Ankerson who had his hands more on the manager and football. Now thnkfully he has moved. So now we have Spors the footballing side should improve, and so I believe the CEO is doing ok.
-
more likely be sacked as I dont rate him. There again I could be wrong, its just as hes so close to Harry it rankles
-
You can work out one of their clues! a big of a bragger are you. Was it a packet of Fig Rolls ? or more likely some weird bible extract ' and the Lord came out on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro proclaiming, those without sin shall be given the secret that is held tightly by the man from Instanbul. He is the Guardian of all secrets of all the saintly goings on in this world. My book of secrets has been placed by his side, he has the gift of viewing the carved stones in the Sport gossip section of the Sun. Once he has been given this holy gift he can then be assured of proclaiming eternal knowledge that none other has read in those most sacred scripts'

But he didnt try and get them or when it was obvious we werent good enough he was too arrogant to change
