  1. The one highlight for me that I havent seen mentioned was Peretz's headlong dive to clear the ball, the crazy type of goalkeeping that shows he's got something about him, lol. Ialso think he has spent a lot of time improving his long kicking, most were very good
  2. Seems he could change once we had a big cemtre forward to hold the ball up, that has been a massive difference to us
  3. sorry tht is a nonsense. Matsuki did well but I dont think its fair to dis Fellows
  4. Wolves have the player profile that will do well next season, depending who they keep of course
  5. It is correct, if Man City win all thier games Inc home to Arsenal it is out of their hands.
  6. Morons look the same to me
  7. Helooks like the Leicester fan on TotalSaints podcast last night, if so disappointed tht he was invited on or not given a bit of stick
  8. Did he nick those glasses off Dierdre Barlow
  9. what really pleased me was the Leicester fans singing we want 9 then have this result shoved up their gullet
  10. I agree but the knee erk and abuse is so funny when you know the result, and then the complete return as things look up I was at home watching PL and flicking through X getting updates, its annoying where I live on edge of Salisbury that if I tune into Solent it wont stay on Saints but goes to Solent Dorest and get B'mouth not us. Not sure how to get Solent online commentary.
  11. If I find time and need cheering up I may go back to the match thread and read it through, the first half will be full of angst and anger, Tonda the worst manager ever, terrible players not fit to wear the shirt and no fight or spirit to....complete ectasy. Its odd but at half time I usually think its all over. but I just had a nagging feeling we might get a draw. I feel most sorry for the away fans who travelled and left at half time, how gutting that would be to actually take the time to get there and then miss what is probably one of the best days of their supporting lives!!!!!!
  12. crikey, i forgot that. To be fair to all with himhe just has not been able to play, hence why we are so short in that area.
  13. Not sure SR were here with Adams or Stewert. Tall Paul was signed but few of the managers we had played him
  14. For me he was a throwback to the old fashioned centre forward, hold the ball up, rough up the defenders and get into the right position to get a chance. All the naysayers have disappeared and will wait for his first miss of course. I also liked the way he killed time at the end by holding the ball and getting he defender to give away the throw,
  15. Thankfully they didnt listen to the geniuses on here!!
  16. I suspect Brighton, B'mouth, Brentford have an eye for that and Chelsea also
  17. that would be fantastic, but those days are gone where you could buy top players near the end of their career, even average players are multi millionaires and can retire without having to work their last few playing days out.
  18. I cant be arsed to look it up, but when he went to WBA last season I cant recall him scoring many
  19. I think he is the most loved for people from his generation, Davies and Channon for me.
  20. Thanks for posting that. So many memories I was at all the home games,. SOme of the aays as well. Wembley and Fraton both outstnding days
  21. Do players never overcome injuries then? Personally I think your post was crass.
  22. we all have different ideas, but Im not sad that he is not coming back.
  23. Yeah but its a bunch of entitled fans who think we should have top playes when you are sitting 14th in the 2nd tier. Nobody of quality needs to come here
  24. So he needs to score 2-3 goals to beat that
  25. Welcome Cyle, dont listen to the doubters.
