  1. Sad to read about Toomer, I didn't know him but felt he was a balanced poster. I used to like Scotties humour , Bearsy as well bloody funny. Dubai Phil still around luckily. Ladysaint havent seen her post and there used to be a woman who used to be a dancer who was a regular poster in the lounge. Glasgow has he gone, or has his betting caught up with him. Hamster Midfield General and sadly many more who dont add their stuff anymore
  2. ive only seen the clips on MoTD but we seemed to be in the game and perhaps created as many chances. What was evident to me was the amount of loose passes straight to their players that put us under undue pressure and 2 goals came from them. It was a foul but the VAR was never going overrule the ref.
  3. depends on what side of the fence you're on
  4. I think people who throw stones should not live in grasshouses
  5. of course they are the longest holders of this trophy. Much like the Fa Cup. When they win something best to get your helmet and protective gear on as there becomes a world crisis
  6. Crikey no posts since December 22nd!!! Is this thread dying out? Come on Pompey give us something pleeease
  7. Another one gone from my childhood. I saw him play a few times but he never stood out to me when he was playing against us at the Dell. No doubt Brian O'Neill had something to do with that lol
  8. I also thought that Walcotts tackle may have had a further closer look. There again it was biter bit as that was a classic Milner tackle he had the pleasure of receiving
  9. I usually dislike Carragher but I thought he was very fair post match, he said it was a pen and showed why. It showed that KWP placed his right foot to the side of Sadio and did not touch him
  10. I couldnt get on this morning and so went and looked at the Ugly Inside, that took 30 seconds, how you navigate that site is a task.
  11. Just when you want it flowing the site cant cope. Shame really
  12. Is it just me or is the site really slow and you cant go to other sections easily?
  13. Forster oh dear, he made the defence nervous with his first kick of the game. He nearly got caught in possession and then he kept punching the ball instead of catching ata time when we needed a calm period. I know he is lacking in confidence but I really found him fraying my nerves. Jack Stephens did some brilliant blocks but he is so casual with his passing at times and gives the ball away in dangerous positions. KWP superb again Diallo looked so comfortable Tella a little lost and to my mind Ndulu(?) is going to be the better player. He was strong and looked very mobile a
  14. Personally Gao has put a good management team at the top of the club who try and be transparent. Perhaps in time this will help us develop and grow. If we get some other new person owner they might rip this up.
  15. she was terrible, but that doesnt mean that all are likely to be poor, most of the male commentators drive me mad
  16. Chez i always respect your opinion but to think we had the smallest ever chance to win the PL is mad. Th team/squad we had when Leicester won the league was far stronger in real terms than now and had Koeman been given more investment at that time we may have challenged rather than dropping away. We are lacking in so many places around the pitch and to hear that Ralph said that we may get one loan in shows we dont have any ambition to push on.
  17. If they have scored there is no way we would have got back in the game. There is at present a poor connection from midfield to the attack, the passing is poor. Armstrong is one of the main culprits, he does well and then makes a useless pass
  18. You obviously have not seen the replay where the ball took a spin that you rarely see on a football pitch, it was bizarre. There was no way Che could be ready for that.
  19. what a bunch of ungrateful moaners we have. Thankfully the stadium isnt full if you lot on here are anything to go by
  20. Disappointing if Danny wants a release clause at all!!!
  21. When Cavani came on at Half time I thought at the time that it was like the League cup final when they had Ibrahimovic, his class made all the difference. His pass for the first and the way he moves when the defenders are napping puts him in a different league
  22. I for one would not gone wild with celebration had Lineker had used his hand. I never was best pleased with Owen for his penalty dive against Argentina. If you blanket that all footballers cheat then it is a sad day for 'sport' I always walked in cricket as I couldnt see why you could feel any achievement for any of the runs after you had knowingly cheated
