Is this a TalkSport click bait thread
-
A bit concerned that all the press hasnt got others knocking on the door!!! If he is so goo then we should be a tad concerned he's not that all!!
-
Shame is tht if he does do well he will be off to higher climes and we will again pine for the good old days
-
I liked Hamer at Coventry but I dont feel he will make a good PL player, although I like his play. I still cant see why Archer has lost his spark, but hopefully he will get it back. Frankly our forwards are a bit mehhh although I still feel Stewart will come up trumps. When he came on v Wrexham he did well, winning in the air and had something about him
-
Archer a player who cost us £15M plus another 10m for Hamer!!! I dont think so
-
Gaelic as they can use their hands
-
have you been on the Razzle
-
There is a lot of business done with Russia at presnt, it is not a blanket ban as far as Im aware
-
My sources tell me that they have offered £32m and a selection of their saucy magazines
-
Just messaged my friend who is a Boro fan. He replied 'Hes a good player but not very fast!, However he creates lots of chances, dont think we should be losing him' Especially to you Southern Softies
-
Yeah but that would mean we dont get him this window!!
-
Is he going to be the Romeuwe remember, is it 3 years ago tht he left. Time really does effect a defensive midfielders mobility, I know Id just scrape into the side now im 65 wheras 3 years ago id be first choice. Its a bugger time you know
-
I saw on X that 3 clubs were looking a BBD , I think it was WBA, Sheff Utd and another I cant recall. Only X and so probably rubbish. I will try and find link, it was somethin like Saints Extra , Just found it, Boro also interested. Sports Boom the initial outlet. As I say probably nonsense. I will await COT to confirm

Spurs will offer half what Everton did knowing their shananigans lol
-
Missed penalties in those home games, and as for the terrible misses we made against the Israeli team!!!!
-
Daily Express 5 a side on Sportsnight with Coleman in the early seventies lol
-
He wasnt easy to listen to in his post match interviews as his English was not perfect , but I doubt many of us would sound great using a second language. He was unfortunate aka Chris Nicholl who had to follow on from Lakrie, we had been spoilt and wanted a lot more and werent patient as Chris had to rebuild, exciting football with poor defending.
-
Is Ross Wilson still there ? If so that would be a clue lol
-
Brilliant post Turks, Puel never got a fair crack and did incredibly well in his short tenure. That cup run was beautiful winning away at Arsenal beating Liverpool home and away and played in one of the most entertaining cup finals in living memory. SO sad that the fans were a bit entitled and didnt see that we needed some time to develop.

I do feel that SR are keeping their powder dry for next season. DO the minimal now to go up and leve us a good kitty to combat PSR next season where will need to buy, buy ,buy to raise the squad quality. aka Forest and Sunderland now. Sunderland and Leeds seem to have learned from our mistakes and brought some tall, powerful and quality players so that they MAY compete
-
did you report it in the same eloquent way? we do have standards you know 😀
-
Superior squad to all the others and we proved we were superior squadwise to Leeds as we beat them 3 times
-
87 goals was good I grant you but that works out less than 2 a game. Our superior squad should have scored more against those teams with little or no resources. We did go on a 25 unbeaten run that came crashing to an end losing at Bristol, a real clusterf''' that game where he made multiple changes to the side. Live on TV and we were useless. In those 25 were some appalling games and we conceded late goals sharing points that had we been more frontfoot we would have won. Anyway Fabrice you have your standpoint and I respect that but Im fairly certain that RM's reputation is washing down the Clyde
-
I wasnt able to go that season and so wasnt actually at the games and so my viewpoint is somewhat skewed. What I did get from the games I could see on the TV, was that it was tedious football, I called it kalidiescope(speling lol )football, lots of very pretty patterns but went nowhere. We did fall over the line after some ridiculous bad performances and other lucky reults. Ok we did get some great wins, the fightback from 2 down to the relegated Huddersfield of that season, a draw against Rotherham but other enjoyable last minute wins at Millwall etc. I do feel that he got lucky as Bazunu got injured and Mcarthy came in and helped solidify our defence. To be fair after the abysmal defeat at home to Stoke, he did pull the rabbit out of the hat by changing the way we played by beating Leeds twice and WBA, it all ended on that wonderful Wembley day. After that game I spoke to Leeds fans and said at least they would have a fun season the followig year whilst we would be suffering. They thought we'd do ok, but sadly we know what happened. I was never convinced by him but as with most maangers I tried to support him as I had hoped he would be pragmatic, sadly his vanity project failed and he slinked down the tunnel at SMS before halftime at 4-0 down, missing the fifth goal. I will always appreciate those 2 games WBA at SMS and Wembley, memories that live forever, funnily enough it wasnt the football it was the fans that gave me that feeling and joy. The joy of celebrating with fellow Saints and the atmposphere they brought was more that AA's goal
-
I had thought that. I saw his 2 goals and whilst they went in, there was not a lot of power in the shots.
