Yep Im a big critic but last night he did well
-
Manning gets lots of unfaircriticism in my opinion, Yes he may only be top Championship quality but he gives his all, and his 2 delicious crosses created2 goals. Well done Ryan, you deserve praise

Bragg came on for a cameo role last night and I was impressed with 2 quality involvements that gave me hope that he is indeed a gem. He did one crossfield pass and a forward dart of a pass that found his man that nearly created a chance from nothing. We must slowly bring him through, but it will be worthwhile me thinks

It was ironic that the Leicester fans sang 'your support is f'ing shi@' when they had a terrible turnoutconsidering what a big team they perceive they are lol

If I recall correctly we didnt score in the last 5 games, this caused grt resentment but again I think we missed 2 pens in those games. We all need the rush of a goal and there was a pent feeling of frustration as we couldnt get our fix. It didnt also help that he wasnt Mr Personality in interviews, I doubt many of us would sound sparkly in a 2nd language. I recall when we went to WHU and played magical attacking football, and name a Saints manager who has beaten Arsenal at their place, and Liverpool home and away also not letting a goal in!!! Very unlucky not to have been given another season whre he could have got his players in
-
Sadly that goes for 130 plus other times
-
and the gilt edged chances that VVD etc missed.

How do you know we will play decent football? Thelast lot of clowns havent so there is no guarantee a new man will
-
loved how he put Townsend on his arse, but my favourite of all time was him chipping the ball over Mark Wright twice before slipping it past Grobellar at the Kop end. To be fair they applauded him

Spors tonight https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=04c5eeed72dc1f96f90e3edde1c4908c42d1abb87653e85119b38b80166bcfacJmltdHM9MTc2Mzc2OTYwMA&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=4&fclid=00b146fb-cd86-674d-1ff1-50cacc3d6611&u=a1L2ltYWdlcy9zZWFyY2g_cT1tYW4lMjBkb2luZyUyMGZ1Y2slMjB5b3UlMjAlMjBzaWduJTIwZW1vamkmRk9STT1JUUZSQkEmaWQ9MEMwOTQ0QUI2RjQzMTVENTE0QURDMDMzMDIwOEUxRkFERTM0NTI5RA

I still dont see the rush to get a permanent manager in or give it to Eckhert, give him more games and then see
-
I have scars of watching Saints and still not feeling confident !!
-
A big risk if he is auditioning for the job. Perhaps we are expecting no midfield from them and just long ball. I just hope we can get a decent result but Im disappointrd that Downes is not playing as he has a bit of steel
-
What doesnt seem to have been picked up by fans is that all the teams below the 1st team play that way from the back. So I suspect any manager who comes in will be expected to play that way.
-
of all the names quoted who would have been an ambitious appointment? I cant see any of those bringing the fans onside as most would have hardly got the fans buzzing
-
It said 'with a football brain number 2' so with somebody with nous.Clough and Taylor type situation
-
Im not surprised with Shaw not knowing, he would have known the colour of a Mars bar or Milky way wrapper I expect. Gerrard/Viera would be known by all players I would have thought, and for a short period may have the awe of the squad, that is why those may get something out of the them. Gerrard with a good football brain as a 2nd in command may well be good for a club like us, and you never know might get good Liverpool loans in. ( I dont believe Gerrard is a great manager but perhaps its what we need here and now. It certainly would get a short buzz IMO
-
I get your point to a degree, but I doubt there has been a decision evermade at our football club, the intelligensia on here wouldnt pick holes in. You only have to read the match thread to understand what football brains we have. ( Oriol may be the only one ) Not sure what choice we as fans have, unless you can find a buyer out there, we have to ride the wave. Not many of us, if any, would risk their lifes work, house and savings on a football club. Whilst Dragan is very wealthy he is not as wealthy as he was by owning our club.
-
I totally agree, it was madness
-
Are we surprised that he is finding it tough? I for one am not. To me it was pressures from advisors who may or may not have been acting in his best interests. It is such a shame if it doesnt work and there is no way he can come back as we are not going to shell out big money and wages to get him back
-
Do you understand how fragile the players confidence was at that stage? I know watching that after they pulled one back and having Baz in goal no wonder they were edgy. Football is a confidence game and the players are fragile especially after last season. I wonder if towards the end of the season they might not be very keen to go up!!!
-
Why appoint him yet.? They have the ideal situation. They can let him have a test drive and if the car runs smoothly they can then appoint or not appoint, that is the question
-
Fundimentally whoever is the manager how are they going to turn 5ft 5in (?) Adam armstrong into a 6ft 3 bustling striker to duff up opposition defences. Until we can get a strong forward in we are in the mire.
-
He does look very lightweight and a schoolboy
-
I assume while the crowd was leaving the game
