  1. Yes, yes, but we were still nursing him right until the end of the season. It seemed prudent to see that he didnt break down before the end of the season. I suspect the club may have felt he would show some gratitude for supporting him all that time whilst he was recovering again and again. Iam a very loyal person, but once that loyalty has been cut I am pretty unforgiving. He used a loophole to get out of his contract, this when the club was down and vulnerable, so forgive me for showing little sympathy, but he has the last laugh as he can again sit in the medical room whilst coining it in
  2. I have little sympathy, he was nursed back by us to get to the WC paying him probably millions, only then to use get out due to the last gme not being played to get out. I liked him but have no time now
  3. Rubbish, he made many passes , including the set up for Larins sitter
  4. On X last night another Portsmyth was on there, it said that Will Ferry was going to join them but their senior players went to Mousinho and told him that if he joined they would smash him up, lol
  5. Is this something potentially positive for us ??
  6. I was expecting a lot of soil replies, but will keep digging I suppose. Glad you picked it 😀
  7. Salt of the earth is Rambo 😀
  8. Dont need to shout 😀
  9. I dont know if you have played competitive sport, but if you have and not had players/captains/managers tearing you off a strip to get a reaction your teams may have been pushovers
  10. Perhaps in your woke life where shouting may be frowned on, but a good captain knows when to give out a bollocking to his teamates to shake them up.
  11. Im not sure it was his fault as he always gave 100%, what I was alludingtowas the facr that he was a leader to the team, and so the evidence could be seen as he wasnt a very good leader. I must add he was brilliant when he marked Saha (?) for Palace and he took some fantastic free kicks, but he did shuffle of when he got the chance
  12. The dressing room that were relegated during his inspirational captaincy.
  13. I keep reading that JWP is a leader, Im not sure I can recall him ever shouting or calling out a player or geeing the team up, he is grat at making his fringe stand up. Anyway Im resigned to him coming back, and I hope he inspires us to great things. I assume he knows a lot of the squad and will fit in again
  14. Whats annoying is that itmeant a massive %age for Boro
  15. Would it be a couple of million signing on fee?
  16. And a Pompey season ticket holder of course but apart from that. Im only kidding on that, he genuinely does care for Saints. If the club think we can afford him then I suppose I should accept it, but I was hoping for a big strong mobile and athletic midfielder.
  17. I was surprised Hogh was quite a low fee,but he may turn out to be rubbish. Was he the Bodo player who scored all the goals in the CL last season? I dont follow such football
  18. If hes on 100K plus a week, thats 5m a season and he will want a 3 year contract....15m plus plus. Hes too expensive and close to the end of being a decent player. Was it 3 seasons ago he last pulled on a Saints shirt?
  19. Rotate, do you mean go round in circles
  20. Not sure WH will want to loan without a buy vclause
  21. well he hasnt scored a free kick since he left and I recall an interview some while ago where he said he wasnt practising them. Do we really need a plodding midfielder, on massive money, I believe we need some energy and bite. I also cant recall many threaded balls that created chances
  22. And if we took JWP on, his waes next year will be a massive burden if we dont go up. The time getting replacements in could really hurt us, as 3 points now is worth as much as at any game in the season.

Funnily enough, since we have had the Northam the atmosphere has improved and moving the away fans was a fantatic decision. Where Iam in the Itchen stand near the Chapel, watching the Northam is fantastic. They really helped lift the team and the rest of the gound when things were a bitmeh on Saturday, so well done all
  24. From the first time I saw him play against V Stoke you could see he was going to be a ttop player. He gave THB and Jack a torrid time, even bullying them. Dekighted we got him
  25. I wonnder how much this player is? THB must be thrilled that Villa are not really going for it to get him. Not a good look
