Still work to be done and talks not finished but closing in on a long standing target #nufc #efc
  3. Didn't some people on here have a problem with buying youngsters from big sides though Agree with your point 👍
  4. asked about Ghoddes on another Footie Forum 2 answers from Brentford fans
  5. who was our last one? up to 10 years ago: Bertrand / Romeo / Livra / Broja / KWP / Ings? If he (ESR) wants to play then we do have a history but i agree with your statement re: ESR (it will be Newcastle or Villa)
  6. 👍 👍 Abraham has scored 10 in his last 64 appearances for Roma, and has had a serious knee injury. I think he is / was excellent and we would normally have no chance signing him - hats off to him for going abroad to get out of the basketcase club that is Chelsea Would love him here if he was not injured and had not played in a year but that probably why we are linked / mentioned
  7. Think Doyle will be going out on loan tbf from another Footie board, and a Leicester fan: The trouble is the ones we're willing to let go are either currently on international duty or nobody else wants. I don't think for a minute he'll go, but if he did, Brighton would be a great fit considering the style of football both they and us play. He'd slot in straight away. Maresca and Di Zerbi are good friends so I'd hope there'd be some sort of agreement between them not to torpedo our promotion push by taking our best player. The same can't be said about Brentford, Arsenal and Fulham though.
