  1. After today's appallingly bad display I got to wondering about what's really happening to our club. It seems like a place no one really wants to be at,it seems to me that the fact the club is for sale, the players can't see any positive momentum at the club with regards to ambition, a manager who isn't given a penny to spend but goes with it and the fact that the better players want out is just a recipe for disaster. Crap always rolls downhill and I'd question any manager staying at a club that won't back him, why would Ralph be happy to sit knowing it nots going to get better any time soon.... The silence from the whole club is deafening and that's more of a worry than the rubbish on the pitch....
  2. Putting aside today's second half dross and poor decisions by the ref and frankly our own players the real problems with our club is investment and ownership, there's absolutely no point in banging on about Ralph who can't freshen it up with no transfer money, and frankly the players who give less than 100% each game know there's no threat to their place because no one new is coming in to challenge them. We I'm afraid will be in this very position until we are sold, and it's a big if when that will ever happen.
  3. I think this runs deeper in the club. Ralph stated the club won't or can't finance the players he wants, that statement in itself isn't going to make the likes of Ings sign or anyone else who's half decent. Our academy is poor atm and no one is coming through, borrowing at hefty interest rates isn't good business it smacks of desperation. I don't think it will be long before we hear that Gao cannot afford anything to do with the club and we'll end up exactly where we were not so many years ago, sell your assets (players) and replace with kids and hope. Ings will be sold, then Vestergard, prowse, Bertrand won't sign... Its a cluster fuck.
  4. If Ralph has publicly stated Saints couldn't afford the players he wanted then we've had it.
  5. So a great start to the season, then a host of injuries, another 9.0 drubbing and a completely skint club.Im at a loss how we can continue to operate in this league for much longer,we have an owner, who let's be honest saw the club as a way to make a tidy sum on selling it on...Then the world did mad stuff and it's all gone to ratshit.Gao can't sell, who wants us?? And he wants way too much money, the squad is too small but we've no cash to increase it with half decent players,Ings will go and who can blame him, others will follow.Ralph will get opportunities at a club with a bit of ambition and we trundle on,the current circumstances surrounding the club remind me very much of when we dropped like a stone down the leagues, uncertainty,no money, players go to get them off the wage bill, players not replaced, owner has no interest or cash...For me it's a worrying time, sure we'll stay up this season, but how can we even hope to compete next with our best players gone and no money in the pot...sad but true...

Sadly this is Saints business model, I'm assuming our owner will be happy to sell to make as much money as possible, covid makes no difference I'm afraid all the time we have the ownership we do, I just hope we don't do what we usually do and end up with a poor poor relegation battling team.
  7. And you are part of the problem. You have assumed just because I posted this and its my first post I must be an individual who holds extreme views, Tit.
  8. I'm astounded at the grief the Millwall fans are getting by their own club for booing at both teams yesterday for taking the knee.I thought football was about sport,an escape for all sorts of people from the community not about political beliefs and virtue signalling. The idiots condemning Millwall fans need to realise football fans want to watch football not have political statements rammed down their throats.Im sick of it to be honest Thoughts.
