Thedelldays Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 Do all the share become null and void...? will groups like the trust just break up...? will there still be a move to get a fan on the board..?
KK the 2nd Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 Yes ..worthless No reason why it couldn't carry on Don't know
eelpie Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 Shares are worthless now, and no place on the Board, but I see no reason why a group of Saints fans should not continue to be their own social club of members. It doesn't affect me, nor anyone else. Good luck to them.
Chez Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 who knows, the new owner might double season ticket prices and then a fans voice might be needed.
Gemmel Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 Do all the share become null and void...? will groups like the trust just break up...? will there still be a move to get a fan on the board..? My personal view is there is no need for a fan on the board, that seems to be echoed by most (certainly on here). As for the trust, i'm not sure whether the new ownership structure makes the trust null and void or not. You will however get loads of people slating the trust and people who give up thier own time etc, trying to do something right for the club / fans and it seems like a thankless task. Whatever happens to the trust, i do believe (Even as a league 1 side) that we are much bigger than any of our independent bodies of fans suggests and with many of the dividing characters now gone, it is the time for the fans to unite behind a single entity or association of Saints fans. If that is the Trust or Sisa or whatever; rebrand and re group ad now is the perfect time.

The Saints Trust should, if it has a future, become just a social club organising cheap trips to matches etc.

Everytime I speak publically I will do so with the strongest possible mandate that I speak for all fans... especially when congratualting the club for improving teh quality of the Rossti and two fried eggs on top in the concourse despite the -380 points we started the season on Board My friends ;-) with apologies to the Trust - it was meant in a friendly way!
