St Landrew Posted 4 November, 2009 Share Posted 4 November, 2009 Toby: Some nerds said the other day that motorcycle racing had too much overtaking in it. Julian: Yes. Poor, sad, deluded people is all I've got to say. Just happened to be watching some stuff from Donington Park and came across this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpgrIBaOQUI

St Landrew Posted 4 November, 2009 Author Share Posted 4 November, 2009 I must admit, it was all is a bit too fast for me, and I certainly recommend a couple of views of that clip, because we weren't in on the race right from the start, and so it's a bit difficult to gather all the info together. I just thought it was interesting, especially as someone had actually said there was too much overtaking in bike racing, and Toby Moody and Julian Ryder of Eurosport had highlighted it. Of course, in all honesty, we want as much as is possible, in any motorsport. It's the lifeblood of racing.
