CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 4 December, 2009 Share Posted 4 December, 2009 Last weekend Manchester City's notched up their seventh successive league draw , equalling the top flight record, last set by Southampton from December 1994 to February 1995. Now while this is probably not something we should be particularly proud of I'll still be hoping a winner emerges from Man City v Chelsea on Saturday nevertheless . So they compiled a team costing squillions of money just in order to beat our record - b*stards! I knew there was a reason. I suppose once they've done it they'll sell everyone and return to League 1.

We're still joint-top in all divisions with 8 consecutive draws under Redknapp in 04-05.

madsent Posted 6 December, 2009 Share Posted 6 December, 2009 A record we jointly hold with Swindon I believe? Obviously, our run was in 05-06 season. It doesn't look like Swindon are one of the teams. Surprisingly, we're not even the most recent members of the club. Swansea joined us last season. The lucky teams in the club are : Torquay in the 1969-1970 season Middlesbrough in the 1970-1971 season Peterborouh in the 1971-1972 season Birmingham in the 1990-1991 season Chesterfield and Southampton in the 2005-2006 season. Swansea in the 2008-2009 season.
