Weston Super Saint Posted 17 September, 2008 Share Posted 17 September, 2008 On we're back on track for a Euro spot...doh. So what was nipper's debut goal like? Reasonably composed, nothing technical, just calmly put it in...
Huffton Posted 17 September, 2008 Share Posted 17 September, 2008 Reasonably composed, nothing technical, just calmly put it in... What he said. Typical poaching strikers goal. In the right place at the right time, stuck his leg out and hey presto - goal. Thought the lad looked good though, and with his height could really cause some problems. Hopefully should start on saturday.
NickG Posted 17 September, 2008 Share Posted 17 September, 2008 looked quite sharp and chased defenders well -JP more or less said him and BWP will start Saturday
Saint_clark Posted 17 September, 2008 Share Posted 17 September, 2008 For some reason I find the fact we are calling Pekhart a nipper quite ridiculous - he's a f*cking monster.
offix Posted 18 September, 2008 Share Posted 18 September, 2008 Well, it's a big game anyway. We do need to beat them no excuses, even if it's a crappy 1-0. Some decent support would help. Are you realizing the meaning of that statement, the sad commentary that it is on our plight? BARNSLEY...... f@cking BARNSLEY .... is now a big game for us? And still there are those who support this "experiment" of Ru**rt?

I think even if Leon were still in charge, or the mythical investment had happened, we would still be playing Barnsley on Saturday.
