10 min+ rendition of 'oh when the saints' last night

Hate to start a thread non saint markus but felt this deserved a mention!!

 

What an atmosphere last night in the northam...not sure i have ever heard any song sung for so long whilst being at a game. Was sat in block 41 last night and my hands are still sore from hitting the perspex at the back of the stand during the epic amount of time we sung the song.

 

It certainly geered the team up and i expect nothing less than great support like that the rest of the season. Twice during us singing it the bournemouth fans tried to drown us out only to realise when they had stopping singing that we were still going and only getting lounder...right round the corner of the northam/kingsland and even spread down the kingsland stand everyone was singing...and blocks 6-7 and maybe 8 joined in too.

 

Resulting in whilst singing Lallana popped up with an awesome finish...Great atmosphere, Great end to the game, promising signs of things to come...loss of voice comes second to a good night with saints fans.

 

Those who were there will no doubt have enjoyed it as much as i did!

... and I'm sure I've heard it sang much longer before... Atmosphere was dull up until half time I thought.

 

I might just be grumpy too tonight.

I did slate the Northam for a poor show on Saturday, but they made up for it big time on Tues. - fantastic stuff - it really did make the difference. Now we can ALL sing OWTS for Markus.

I was in the Northam, bored off my tits to be honest. Poxy game against a nothing team, why bother ?
