Wanted: Lego city rail track

Hi - my son got a Lego City Train Set for Christmas but can't find anywhere in the UK that has extra rail track in stock to extend the layout. We've found a couple of sellers on EBAY who are just selling curve sections but no straight pieces (although watching some auctions underway in America)

 

Anyone out there got any track they don't want and would like to sell?

P.S. Why do toy companies do this? Sell a box set but then have no accessories in stock?

You also might want to download and check out the Lego Digital Designer as well Trousers, my kids put it on my machine - but it is actually a very impressive peice of software.

Thanks for the links Micky. I think they've recently added anticipated shipping dates on those as I could've sworn they were out of stock when I first looked. Cheers for the head up.
