Saint Garrett Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 I unfortunately(as a student in the north) couldnt afford to make it home todsay, but I just want to say...what a performance from the team, and by the team....I have no disgrace losing to a pub full of Man Utd fans!! If we play like that for the rest of the season. we'll win the league. I am a very proud Saints fan tonight.

If any of the plastic fans or non-footy fans who suddenly come alive when we've lost and they've noticed start on Monday, they'll get short shrift! rocknrollman no2 Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 Good for you Saint Garrett.I was at the game and was getting texts from my youngest son in Chester who was watching it in a pub full of Manure fans as well and he was wearing his Saints shirt. He cheered on his own when we scored and the pub went quiet(like their fans),but i think he took a bit of stick after their second goal. Im still proud of him though. Chester is alas pretty near the centre of the known Man U world.
