The Cat Posted 13 May, 2011 Share Posted 13 May, 2011 On the guardian website. Bobby Stokes goal chosen as one of their 6 goals in this selection. Take in the wonderful picture at the top and then scroll to number 4. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2011/may/13/joy-of-six-fa-cup-final-goals
ooohTerryHurlock Posted 13 May, 2011 Share Posted 13 May, 2011 One of the greatest days in the sporting calander..... squeezed in and belittled by the Football association - Coverage wrecked on ITV by adverts for tenner lady. Can't believe such a great competition has become so under valued. Cup final Saturday should be cup final Saturday... Its as simple as that. Agree, feet up by the telly, crate of beers within reach and enjoy from the teams coach trip up Wembley way to the celebrations. Hope SC win tomorrow, underdogs in red and white stripes. theyin Posted 14 May, 2011 Share Posted 14 May, 2011 Somehow I just knew Bobby's goal was going to be featured when you saw that headline come up on the phone. Oh for the days of blanket coverage from 9am. It was part of the day and it never mattered who was playing. Even here is Oz, we've got a 2 hr build up and it's on SBS which means limited ads.
