That's what you want from your defenders though, consistency and solid performances. I don't want them to be performing heroics or trying anything OTT. The shot was across him and still went in a good two foot inside the far post. Poor positioning. Poor positioning last week on that one that beat him on the inside. And then there was the one that ballooned off his chest when he should have gathered it neatly. And he is our player of the month. Very sad that we have worse players... It was a well placed shot through that he saw very late. Even though he could have had it it was not his mistake. Especially with the bounce in the shot.
