Master Bates Posted 11 August, 2008 Share Posted 11 August, 2008 CENTRE back Matthew Mills has signed for Doncaster Rovers in a club record £300,000 deal after rejecting interest from Southampton and Swansea. http://www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk/rovers/Rovers-land-club-record-signing.4347397.jp

Matthew Le God Posted 11 August, 2008 Share Posted 11 August, 2008 I doubt we did. More likely the "journalist" did some poor research and got his previous club and teams in for him mixed up in an attempt to make it look like a job well done for Doncaster. CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 11 August, 2008 Share Posted 11 August, 2008 I reckon we were interested in another free transfer but when someone started mentioning £300k we suddenly decided he was rubbish after all .
70's Mike Posted 11 August, 2008 Share Posted 11 August, 2008 I reckon we were interested in another free transfer but when someone started mentioning £300k we suddenly decided he was rubbish after all . agree with the first part of your sentence but not the end. Center halfs get better with age and experience Matt was part of the golden age of our Academy and even though it is still being bigged up the players, imo, are not as good as the class of Matt Mills etc
adysaint Posted 11 August, 2008 Share Posted 11 August, 2008 Can't remember if it was SSN or ITV but he is doing that Emma Rigby out of Hollyoaks... Lucky b'stard... (even if she has a bit of a funny shaped face).

Saint Bones Posted 12 August, 2008 Share Posted 12 August, 2008 He was on loan there so probably the best move for him - already knowing the team/coach. Killer Fan ??? How exactly does this show how **** we are ? Can I mention Schneiderlin ??? No - not a defender but whats looking to be a great buy - we can't have them all mate. Have to agree with this, surely if we were interested and lost out then we would be in the market for someone else. As it stands no-one has been signed or rumours of anyone being linked. James_O_Mac Posted 12 August, 2008 Share Posted 12 August, 2008 If i hear Lowe out one more time, I'm either going to kill everyone who says it, or kill Rupert...whichever is easier...i'm pretty sure Rupert is protected by his vicious LoweBOT 3000's™, so...Killer Fan, say your prayers

ottery st mary Posted 12 August, 2008 Share Posted 12 August, 2008 Pity we let him go and a pity we did not get him back. Always thought he would be a great centre back and still think the same. But now let us bring Lancashire and Racine through to supplement Davies, Svennson ,Perry and Wootton.
