Colinjb Posted 4 June, 2013 Share Posted 4 June, 2013 A few of the guys in my company had Mazda 6's (The shape just phased out) we are all on VW's now though thanks to a group deal. Never heard a bad word about them, they drove really well had plenty of power, faultlessly reliable and very capacious. The only moan was from one guy who had some issues hooking up the bluetooth with his iPhone, that was it for about 4 people with a total of 12 collective years living with the things. stu0x Posted 4 June, 2013 Share Posted 4 June, 2013 Very good. If you're looking for a family estate in that price bracket (ie sub 'prestige') and you don't want to drive a Mondeo, it's an excellent choice. The only car I'd have over one would be a facelift Octavia Estate, but it will depend on what year/price you're looking at as to whether that is an option. mdearlove Posted 4 June, 2013 Share Posted 4 June, 2013 Only thing gone wrong with ours in 5 years is the boot lid open button. Good build quality - servicing is a bit expensive at the main dealers mind.
Shroppie Posted 4 June, 2013 Share Posted 4 June, 2013 Have had a 6 Sport as the "big" car for seven years from new. Great car, lively fast and comfortable. No problems whatsoever. Been to Norway and Croatia in it and most places in between.
