lordswoodsaints Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 as reported in the papers today...... he might be looking for a move and he obviously likes the red and the white, perhaps he might have the wrong red and white? and despite what most people think,he still is friendly with lowe. fingers crossed. INFLUENCED.COM Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 Too much of a challenge for him imo, his record with us in the prem is good, his record with Celtic, to date, is good and looks like they will retain the title, so do not believe he would risk soiling his reputation
ozzmeister Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 maybe he's looking for a new challenge. I think he took us as far as he could, has taken Celtic as far as he could. Sunderland wouldnt be a terrible move, they have moey and he's got the man mangement to get them playing alot better. Sunderland probably have better players than what we had when Strachen took over us.
saint1977 Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 Big Sam I reckon. Top choice was Brown but he's loving life at Hull and feels loyal. Sunderland have even considered making Big Sam DOF if Brown joined but Big Sam would do well for them. He's bound to want to prove a point to Newcastle IMO and did fantastically well at Bolton. I did hear an interesting non-Panaroma rumour (nothing to do with bung allegations) though which allegedly may be putting clubs off him.

Bailey Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 Wouldn't be a bad move for Strachan IMO. He's pretty much taken Celtic as far as possible and Sunderland are a decent club. WGS would no doubt be given funds to strengthen should he take charge and he's the kind of motivational man they need right now. If it did happen you can bet we'd get them in the 4th round of the FA Cup.
chocco boxo Posted 6 December, 2008 Share Posted 6 December, 2008 WGS next job will be Pompey after TA screws it up! 10 mins from Warsash he knows it makes sense! Surely Chris Mcmenemy should be in the frame for Sunderland job with Branfo*t as DOF.
