I recognised a lot of them and I was especially to see the pic of Lankaster & Crook. If it was the one in Obelisk Road in Woolston, my grandfather worked there for many years.

I really enjoyed that!! Bitterne Triangle was always a no-brainer. Twice, I heard myself yelling internally "Floating Bridge!"

 

What a shame that those sausage noshing inbreds made such a mess of the Bargate! I don't think I ever remember seeing a pic of it more complete than it is today.

Although not a Southampton my father is from Woolston and my Aunty and Uncle worked in L&C in Oblisk Rd. Uncle Bill delivered milk on a horse drawn cart until the mid 60's.
