LGTL Posted Friday at 16:03 Posted Friday at 16:03 Semmens is a complete helmet, no surprise the little dweeb has rocked up at some women’s team as CEO. His comment about giving up his weekends is still one of the best lines to come out of a fans forum 😂 3
danjosaint Posted Friday at 16:51 Posted Friday at 16:51 Yeah he's ceo of London city lionesses that have just been promoted to wsl

If a player wants a quicker trajectory than the downward slide Saints have endured in recent seasons that player needs to rethink his priorities, ffs.

If we want to be an ambitious club, we need to sign ambitious players, as part of that process the clubs trajectory maybe slower than a players and the player wants to move on. Yeah I agree with this a lot. Ultimately I would like us to be treading water in the PL, with a strong core and a revolving door where talent comes in and superstars come out. No real worries about relegation and a decent go at the cups. That's the best we can hope for. That's what SR should be aiming for. 3
sfc4prem Posted Saturday at 07:08 Posted Saturday at 07:08 Semmens thought us fans should be grateful to be in the PL, that a club 'our size' would do well to stay in that league. For that mentality alone - the mentality that bled its way through the innards of our club until every member of staff fucking agreed - the bloke can suck a dick for all I'm concerned. 4
HarvSFC Posted Saturday at 08:05 Posted Saturday at 08:05 Probably gives up his weekend's for a fraction of what he was earning giving them up here. He has my full sympathies.

The likes of ings, kwp, livramento were all good buys. The lavia leg work was done on their watch. JWP saints' career was basically saved by Ralph etc. There were some duff buys in that time as well though, particularly earlier one... But absolutely nothing in comparison to the absolute shitfest that was sports republic's (rasmus') first year in recruitment duties 😅 (Bet semmens thought he was onto a winner when he SR turned up and wanted to put money into investments... Little did he know that we were going to rip up the entire established recruitment system and he was going to have little control 😄). That’s a fair point you make, although I’d give Ralph the credit for keeping us up with the lack of investment. There were some decent signings, but if we’re looking at the 2022 intake then you have to include the complete farce of not bringing in a striker that Ralph wanted. Wasn’t the Gakpo fiasco largely attributed to Semmens ? Edited Saturday at 19:45 by Badger
