Assuming the sticky is correct, 11 out of contract next summer:

McCarthy

Stephens

Aribo

Smallbone

Stewart

Bree

Fraser

Taylor

Ounachu

Dibling

Bella-Kotchap

Assuming Dibling doesn't renew, it's hard to imagine any of the others getting an extension?

2027 ones are:

Manning

Armstrong

Sulemana

Edozie

Larios

Bazunu

Bednarek

Charles

Assuming they don't renew, offers would be considered for all, with extensions feasible for Sulemana & Charles?

The only extensions I can see out of that lot are Dibling (the automatic 1 year clause) and Charles. The rest will either go this summer, or leave in the next 6-12 months.

If the club offer an extension to Sulemana they are nuts. This is their last summer to get a 'decent' fee for him, take £5-10m and run. Never going to make their money back so they should stop hoping.

Aribo will go to the one of the big Turkish clubs, one of our highest earners even with the relegation cut. Jones might be tempted to try for Bree now they’re up, maybe same wages but over a year more. Onachu joining Aribo. ABK hopefully finally gets his Bundesliga return. Can’t see AA going anywhere if the salary figure @Farmer Saint cited is accurate even with the cut as the market is very limited to teams with parachutes or maybe Brum. And do we want to sell someone who scored getting on for 30 goals last time to a rival?

Bednarek on his way with a release fee of only £6m. Good deal for all parties, we get the fee and he gets his move. Manning edges ahead of Taylor with the extra year. Baz and Larios loaned out. Charles try to extend, Sulemana sold this summer but a big loss on the £22m paid.

Seriously?!? Taylor is twice the player and more suited to Stills needs - Manning is…well, a rubbish defender with no pace or skill, but does love a back pass.

That's a lot of players still in contract. We could end up with the same team for first half of next season if no one puts bids in. Except Ramsdale and Fernandes.

Some release fees like Bednarek’s though. Aribo and Onachu we know there’s interest from Turkey and only a year left. Martin may want AA, Downes, maybe Manning. Interest in Archer as well.

It’s the likes of BBD that will be more difficult to shift.

It’s amusing seeing people on social media think we’ll get £10m for Onuachu or Sulemana, or £50m for Fernandes. 😂

The high earners will be let go for free, just get them off the books.

Onachu will be around £7-9m, those figures have been widely reported from Turkey especially if more than one of their major clubs want him. Sulemana £10m probably at the top end but two years to go, not one of the very top earners, possible.

Fernandes price will depend on who the market is. An ECL-qualifying club could drop £40m on him.
