Were we ever given a reason for his absence from the squad on Saturday? 

Surely in the minority here asI'd like to see him given a chance under Tonda but seems his days are numbered.

We've had 11 reasons why he's not getting a sniff. 

Even if he improves, he's not the kind of striker we play with (strong, physical and can play with back to goal).

Not sure this is it when BBD was given minutes. At least Downs has youth on his side, BBD has no redeeming qualities.

But, was able to play in the last pre-season friendly a few days after. He was in the morning team: https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/report-pre-season-concludes-with-muenster-win
