Bit how can one or two who want out result in us being 20th?

just can’t buy into that being the issue why we are shit

I don't think he , or I, were saying that was the case. Just one of many examples of disfunction within the club.

We've all been in work places where the atmosphere has been awful thanks to a few. Doesn't take a lot for the place to feel like a morgue and that to take a toll on individual performances.

Where do we go from here? Easy, on to the next game, and the next and the next one after that, employing the same old failing tactics until the season becomes a disaster.

There is another option of just aiming to win as many matches as possible which will probably result in a mid table position. None of the teams that were relegated last season are setting the division on fire so we don’t have some kind of divine right to go straight back up. SR have spent a lot of money so why blame them. Not all of Spors recruitment have been crap but yes, that could have been better. We don’t have a poor squad. Still needs to find a way to get a tune out of them as he won’t be sacked this side of Christmas. We can call for sackings all day long but is that really the answer? SR own the club and aren’t just going to sell up because a bunch of key board warriors want them too. The fans I know who don’t use social media are unhappy but aren’t calling for mass sackings. At some point we need to understand that getting rid isn’t the answer and just have to live with

Alfie said something interesting on TSP, he seemed to be supporting Still’s reference to some of the players not giving a crap, he said something along the lines of,  from his experience that’s very true. Later in the podcast he referred to some players they really wanted out the club in the summer but are still there, presumably causing issues.

Who are these players, I wonder? They need to be excluded from the group until they've got their heads on.

Downes? THB? Archer? Aribo & Edozie.

Stephens signed a new contract, so probably not him, and Arma has been quoted recently as happy to stay. Can't see the likes of Fraser, Bazunu, McCarthy, Charles, Wood, Edwards or Manning wanting out, and then its just the newbies.

I would be thinking along those lines, but it’s possible some of the new players regret coming here. Especially those from the championship

Agree, looks like a case of what the hell have I signed up to. Its a trend in football now.

Eventually found the FA Pro coaching manual. Its all clear now, the back are the defence and keeper. The draw runners are the wingers. Midfield the draw base and the fronts the strikers. Just visualise this diagram during tge Preston game and Saints tactics become clear.

Saints use draw-base-runner-runner-front formation. Saints 5-2 Preston

England are using the Pro plus coaching which utilises a wardrobe and mirror.
