It may turn out to be a massive mistake, but with our history that could apply to any appointee. If there is a mistake it’s in making it permanent at this stage.

His appointment at least brings much needed clarity for him, for Lallana and the U21's and for the fans. Our chances of recovering enough to challenge for promotion this season are low anyway so if this doesn't work out not that much has been lost.
