SandyInOz Posted Wednesday at 23:16 Posted Wednesday at 23:16 I'm coming over to the UK from Australia and looking to get tickets for a home game in December. I used to go regularly in early 2000's (generally used to sit in the Chapel but sometimes the Northam) so was always aware of good seating locations but I know times have changed, particularly with the away fans being moved and also the safe standing. Where's the best place to sit from an atmosphere point of view (my Aussie boys are used to the library atmosphere that Aussie Rules produces - they need educating)? I can't do the Northam safe standing as I'm after 4 tickets and there's only 1s and 2s left. Cheers 👍 3
TheAlehouseBrawlers Posted yesterday at 05:09 Posted yesterday at 05:09 I would suggest the Kingsland (blocks 35-37) or Itchen blocks (1-3) closer to the Northam. They’d probably like the Northam fanzine before and after (and accessible from those Itchen blocks at halftime. 1
SandyInOz Posted yesterday at 06:21 Author Posted yesterday at 06:21 Thanks. Anyone know what 'Armchair and 'No Visibility' mean? Tickets in the Northam (including corners) say this when selecting them.
Saintinnot Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think no visibility probably means you can’t see the pitch very well
Football Special Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 4 minutes ago, Saintinnot said: I think no visibility probably means you can’t see the pitch very well What block / row is it? Not really any restricted view. I'd agree with TheAlehouseBrawlers suggested, Kingsland or Itchen corners close to the Northam end
SandyInOz Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Thanks guys. Booked in Itchen/Northam corner for the Cov game. Looking forward to it, been 12 years since I was last there. Found out the ‘no visibility’ is noted on seats that have safe standing.
