I was wondering if anyone on this board was into BBQ? I am semi into it but am looking to build an outdoor kitchen in the courtyard to the side of my house.

Has anyone done this, and would be good to see some pictures of your kitchen, you roasting your favourite spit pig, grilling on your egg, or basting your beef, or whatever floats your culinary boats.

We have a barbecue and smoker. The smoker is excellent we’ve only recently started using them but we did ribs on there on Sunday also done a shoulder of lamb and pork. Fabulous stuff. We’ve also got a pizza oven so do lots of homemade pizza in the spring and summer months

Yes, we have a propane gas BBQ like the one illustrated below. Outside on the back deck. It has three independent burners, so you can grill things with direct heat or indirect heat (by turning one or more burners off).

I just set up this BBQ last weekend (after a thorough clean). We have to store the thing in the garage over the winter and early spring because of the cold tempreatures here outside. Our first meal this year was grilled Italian sausages, with grilled vegetables: sweet peppers, onion, and mushrooms.

I usually grill hamburgers (beef), strip-loin beef steak, chicken breasts (bone in), pork chops (bone in), pork tenderloin, and sausages.

An important tool is a meat thermometer, so you can measure the internal temperature. It's important that the meat is neither undercooked, nor overcooked.
