The influence and established business connection with Manchester Council and number 10 to me indicates City will get a very weak punishment. If anything they will get more business investment deals. As we know from Saints EFL dealing its not what's in a rule book or legal guidance its about contacts and who you know.

Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool just as much. Does it really matter wether the money comes from flogging oil or shirts in China?

We’ll see.. the premier league has a brand to protect too. 
 

There is a lot of anger out there about this, from many sources. I’m not sure they’ll be able to brush it under the rug. But unfortunately you’re right that money usually talks.
