If we win against Brum.

I would expect to see our attendance at the next two home games exceed 18,000. If rumours are true that our break even figures at the start of the season were based on an average of 17,000 a game, then anything above that figure will help towards the reduction of our overdraft.

Five home gates at 25,000 would be approx £1m reduction in our overdraft.

This could put us in a better position to hang on to players for the start of next season and with the same players and manager we could find ourselves making a realistic challenge for the Premiership next season.

How much we reduce our overdraft this season is of little importance as long as we don't increase it. What is important is CCC survival and our share of the new revenue stream next season. We'll be able to keep Barclay's(and anyone else) at bay with that because it is guaranteed money.3 mill plus is a big line in any accounting projection.

I thought they have already got it down to 4.5mil from 6.5mil? Not sure what the club agreed with the bank but at a guess that is more than the bank expected so any more we can do will keep them very happy and we will keep there support.

I couldn't say really,I'm not ITK on our current financial status. Just on what could happen next year if we stay in the Championship. It would seem to me that getting people into the Stadium to make noise and get behind the team is priming on making money just now. Apart from the QPR game that is. May be

policing problems stopping us boosting the crowd there though.

yeah im only getting my info from snippets I read on here so as for the real figures I guess we will find out when the accounts get released. Not that I totally understand them anyway though lol.

a winning team shoulod boost the numbers though and the shareholders are a long way off dividends so it should all make it back into the club somehow.

You're getting a bit ahead of yourself there I think Mick. Let's make sure we are in the CCC next year - it's not over yet by any means - before we start thinking about a return to the Prem! But I'm a lot more optimistic about survival now than a couple of weeks ago that's for sure. :smt041

Sorry meant to add IF we survive this season. I still have a horrible niggling feeling that we will go into admin just as things start to look a bit more hopefull. Its just the cynical way supporting Saints has made me.

If we beat Birmingham (unlikely), couple that with reduced prices V Derby and I think we will see over 20,000.

I don't think it is unlikely. Birmingham are starting to do their traditional slipping up towards the end of the season already. We are on the up as they are on the down. It could be an interesting game.

I think you're spot on there but after the last 3 games at least we have some hope returning to the fans quickly. I was getting a bit carried away myself after 2 wins but after last night I'm basking in an unusual warm glow about Saints.

Even if don't get anything at B'ham I would think the £5 offer should see us get at least 25,000 for Derby? Plus it's a grudge match for a lot of Saints fan anyway. As Saint Clark said, even if we don't make a profit on the night the extra support and atmosphere will be well worth it if it contributes to us staying up. (Ok, forget the Forest game!) More importantly, I can afford to go :-)
