a1ex2001 Posted 7 April, 2009 Share Posted 7 April, 2009 Well blow me I nearly forgot we were a football club and it turns out that we are competing in some meaningless bottom of the table clash or something this evening, Here's hoping the boys will be able to get better focused away from home and bag us three much needed points 1-0 saints! Surely this is the Southampton Leisure Holdings forum. And as we know Southampton FC are only a small and inconsequential asset of SLH which is primarily a land development, catering and retirement services provider. Don't for gods sake start the rumour that football is the main business of SLH! COYR

Wes Tender Posted 7 April, 2009 Share Posted 7 April, 2009 That needed clarification? If you come from Brighton, it is probably acceptable to think that tranny is transexual instead of transistor. The other way around in most of the rest of the country.

um pahars Posted 7 April, 2009 Share Posted 7 April, 2009 A scrappy, flukey and lucky win, followed by a draw Friday. We had better not manage to stay up, only for the League to pull the rug from under us!!!
Bailey Posted 7 April, 2009 Share Posted 7 April, 2009 A scrappy, flukey and lucky win, followed by a draw Friday. We had better not manage to stay up, only for the League to pull the rug from under us!!! Think of it like this . . . If we stay up, we would then get 10 points deducted by the Football League, and as a result we'd be relegated to League One. HOWEVER, we would then be able to start life in the third tier of English football with 0 points. If we get relegated this season, we will still be deducted 10 points, but it will be imposed on us at the start of next season. This means that we would begin the season in League One on -10. So basically, we're fighting for the right to start on 0 points next season!
