SoccerMom Posted 26 April, 2009 Share Posted 26 April, 2009 Yeah, get well soon, Paul. Have doubted him from time to time, but he's clearly got affection for the club, and we will need his sort even more next year - been there, done that, keep your head up attitude. AlfredKo Posted 27 April, 2009 Share Posted 27 April, 2009 Could be useful in league 1 as we always say that he is a league 1 player at most. I look forward to see the Gillet and Spiderman combination plus Skacel as left midfield again in the last game.
saintwarwick Posted 27 April, 2009 Share Posted 27 April, 2009 Get well soon and that but he's got to up there as one of the worst players in our history? ****ing useless. Not the best player we have ever had and not the best passer of the ball but ****ing useless he isn't. Plays the holding role quite well and gets stuck in. He also motivates the players with his constant verbals. I think he could be a good asset in league one and would make a good captain.
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 27 April, 2009 Share Posted 27 April, 2009 Great photo of him in today's Guardian which mentions the unseemly haste with which the ref left the pitch while Wotton was prostrate on the pitch needing treatment. The article is an in-depth one and also mentions the FA investigating a missing £40m at th club. I will try and find it on line when i have got the kids to school.
