Erwin and Jan leave for Everton (official)

That was always going to happen. Shame, I'd heard they both loved it down here and Erwin was ****ed off at Ronald for going to Everton. I have no malice toward these two.

Jan has tweeted:Dear fans of @SouthamptonFC thank you all for the excellent cooperation and the great games we experienced together and your kind wordsPity that the Club cannot be magnanimous enough to at least thank Jan and Erwin. Jan especially is a decent bloke. Erwin may have been as much to blame as Ronald with his falling out with Les which has prompted the departure.

So come the 28th if we have not appointed a new manager, who might be in charge of pre-season coaching?

Would it be popular Sammy Lee, the man who's job could be on the line depending on who Les appoints?

I would assume Sammy and the other coaching staff are capable of running the start of pre-season without any issues and I would imagine Sammy is a non-negotiable for any incoming manager ie he stays as he is popular and gives continuity something the club is keen on hence the last couple of managers only bringing in a minimum number of there own people each time and not a whole new backroom.
