  1. I’ll wait and see if it makes a dent. It could. It could not. The Dell was a cracker of a place because it had multiple singing areas. I started as a Milton muppet, moved to under the east stand (up towards the archers) when it was standing, ended up in the archers when it was seating. There were always areas of the ground that were singing and kept an atmosphere going. Easier to do when the capacity is 15k. It always seemed to me that the original ethos of the fans’ move to St Mary’s was to carry on the spirit of the Dell, to keep up the notion of multiple areas of singing. That for me was the enjoyment factor of the Dell, never the ultimate decibel level, just the interaction of a number of stands playing off each other. Who knows what will happen. Maybe the Chapel kop will find a resurgence and the old dears will react to the newly placed away end with a coordinated chorus for 90 minutes. Maybe the kingsland will find some life in themselves to wake up and to raise their voices a bit. Maybe the new red wall will be an absolute force of noise in itself. Maybe it will make no difference. Maybe.
  2. This is what it comes down to most times, some men just fall over themselves in feeling like they have the right to tell women how they should feel within their own protected spaces. Women only changing rooms? No problem, you’ve got cubicles apparently. Get on with it. Theres statistically only a small chance of you being in danger anyway. Get on with it. It really is baffling.
  3. And that’s just the early bird price. I can’t find any info on it but is there a chance ST holders can still renew their seat after the early bird window has closed? Pretty sure in years gone by that used to be the case.
  4. What's the alternative? Its all very well being ideological and voting for someone else, but with FPTP the ruling party is only ever going to be red or blue. And given the past 14 years of incompetence, corruption, greed and "party over country" we're long overdue something different. All political parties go stale after a while, we're long overdue with these lot probably due to the Brexit process stringing things out for longer than it should have. I quite like Starmer, I don't find him particularly inspiring but I do think he'll be the adult in the room. And unlike his two predecessors he'll actually be acting on a voted-for manifesto rather than going completely off piste, which is a huge improvement on what we've got.
  5. Just had a look myself. At this stage I’d take the seat maps with a pinch of salt, it looks like existing ST holders have until Friday to renew on the early bird deal. So you’d have thought anyone not renewing won’t show up as a sellable seat yet, and after the early bird deal closes I don’t know how long the renewal window stays open for? When it all goes on proper unrestricted general sale I think we’ll get a much better idea of it, I reckon for now the club are holding back quite a few seats in most areas for one reason or another.
  6. Fairly cut and dry. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/keir-starmer-labour-woman-anneliese-dodds-b2382675.html
  7. Would they? Not so sure. This seems a decent way to get ST holders to renew and also to bring a mate along. Also think someone on here said a few days ago that when they renewed the online sales looked to be going well. We’ll see come KO next season but personally I’d be very surprised if the Northam doesn’t sell out most weeks.
  8. Yep. He also absolutely crucified Johnson by constantly laying a series of traps that the lieing fat oaf just kept walking into. It was courtroom stuff.
  9. My expectation is that if we don’t go up we’re going to have to make monumental cost cutting changes, both on the playing side and within the club itself. We’ll have a lot of players still on relatively huge wages, plus we’ve got quite a few loanees out who haven’t exactly set their respective places alight so that’s another headache. Basically I think we’re a bit fucked financially if we don’t go up.
  10. I’d be very surprised if it doesn’t sell out most games.
  11. When even the shitrag that is the Daily Express are reporting that big Ange likely doesn’t owe any CGT, you know this smear has basically run its course. https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1892483/angela-rayner-council-house-tax-renovations Ange 😍
  12. Might need to go to specsavers. It was front and centre on the BBC website pretty much as soon as it happened. It’s still on the bbc main page. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68903573 Hers the daily Heil’s take on it. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13351441/Unbelievable-moment-policing-minister-Chris-Philp-leaves-Question-Time-audience-gasping-asks-Rwanda-Congo-different-countries-Senior-Torys-howler-hes-asked-deporting-migrants-African-warzones.html#:~:text=A Conservative minister has faced, about the controversial Rwanda bill. The mask has well and truly fallen off.
  14. It’s one way to look at it. Another way to look at it is that there have been 15 games this season where we have conceded 2 or more goals. Thats just slightly more than 1 in every 3 games that we need to score no fewer than three goals to have a chance of winning the game. That seems like an awful lot to me, and gets beyond talk of outliers due to the obvious regularity.
