Because he's not at all in their plans and they need room to add homegrown players to their squad.

Finally. Not been good enough first few games aside. -
Hasenhuttl to leave if saints get relegated?

Far too idealistic. Top notch manager, blame the players blah blah blah. Genuinely have a think about the state of tge fan base if we go down this season. Atmosphere will be toxic and chairman down to the ticket office will be blamed. If we go down it means we've won very little games and we won't be sat there talking about what a top manager we've got. We'd be frothing at the mouth at everyone including him because we'd have to be still be really **** to go down at this stage. The quality in this league is awful at the bottom. It's not hard to get us out of it. This is a easier job than Hughes had last year and he managed to just do it. There's alot more time to get results and impose a style. If we go down we'll have gone another 5 months with bad results and that will simply get him the boot because he even said himself is first job is to get us safe. -

If we get relegated he'll be sacked and everyone on here will be calling for that as well. -
Any update on this LeG? We have a good set of professional's despite what some on here think (Bertrand one for example who seems to have a reputation which is far from the reality) so I personally don't see it being the case. Thanks

And yet we still showed enough ambition to appoint Koeman and finished 6th the season after. Weird.
-
Think Davis will play.
-
They very rarely do that.
-
He's injured. Not overlooked.
-
Come on then. What do we know of him? Remember him doing a solid job at Watford.
-
Appointment is lined up by the sounds of it. Like most new managers with a tough 1st fixture it's a case of observing the first game then cracking on with the winnable one. No doubt he'll be in attendance on Wednesday.
-
Don't see us playing 3 at the back unless we expect United to start with a front two.
-
No point in making loads of changes if players are ok fitness wise. All much of a muchness anyway so might as well stay consistent if we can. Obafemi or Ings in up top. Bednarek in for Hoedt. Gunn foe McCarthy. Vestergaard is a no against Vardy imo. Stephens at right back if you want but that's about it for me.
-
MLG right. Awful thread headline. Anyway, reads very much as a fan appeasement piece to me.
-
Etherington was on the radio weeks ago saying the same thing but stating he nor the players had an issue as it worked well because his coaches did all that.
-
They play 442. No different to us. Hughes and Pereya cut in from wide so we can match them up as long as we are aware they'll play narrowly. And you say that's their primary assets but they play very directly to a target man to get those involved so we have to deal with that. Stephens is ok on the ground but is awful in the air and he and Cedric will be targeted lile all of last season. Deeney or Success will exploit that so Veatergaard will be needed to deal with it and our CM's will need to be on hand to get second balls and deal with the power of Doucoure and Capoue. Since the time they started together, we scored twice and then they didn't start together again until yesterday and we scored for the first time since.
-
This is genuinely a terrible idea haha. Anyone protesting from within the ground is laughable really. You've paid to get in. If you want to send a message that will stick with them after they've stepped out the stadium then don't go.
-
McCarthy Cedric Vestergaard Hoedt Bertrand Redmond Lemina PEH Moi Long Ings Once the meltdown over City is over the team basically picks itself. Vestergaard has to play as he was simply signed to deal with the types of strikers Watford have. Lomg and Ings are the only combination that gets us goals and Moi back in over JWP. We'll win. 2-0.
-
Got promoted twice after Markus died. Also two Wembley trips some succesful seaons in the Prem up until last year. But yeh, completely went down hill after he died and Katrina has done nothing
-
Haven't scored since Long and Ings started together agaimst Brighton. Shocked we haven't gone back to that since and we absolutely need to if we are to stand any chance of getting out of our half against City next week.
-
Might want to re read that tbh
-
Shall we say the same for outfield players who aren't part of the plan? Or should they knucjle down and fight for a place or like Hesketh, Carillo, Reed, Boufal should they go on loan if theres an offer. Clear from Hughes press conference last week Forster has had opportunities to go on loan, fair enough if he doesn't fancy it or those particular ones don't suit but no point moping around or not coming in and we wouldn't expect it from outfield players.
-
Agreed. However the other option is to play Austin and Gabbiadini and completely surrender any will to hold up the ball or stretch defences at all. Then we can all moan about how unfit, not match fit, isolated or just **** they are...again.
-
We're a better team with him in it, sadly. He's our best target man. Whether we want the target man to stretch defences, or to win headers or to hold up the ball, he's the best at those things and as a team we need someone in our side to do that as we don't really have the quality to play through teams.

McCarthy Cedric Vestergaard Yoshida Bertrand PEH Lemina Armstrong Ings Redmond Long Cant believe actually pick Gabbi still. Would have Gallagher and Austin on the bench.
