For all those who have been negative towards Shane, I personally thought that he grew into the game on Boxing Day. His first start of the season too, he was always going to be a bit rusty. Was a great finish for the disallowed goal, he will know more than anyone that he was just offside. Ok so he may not be prolific but in return he makes up for that in work rate and top class effort. I for one hope that he starts tomorrow night against a tired West Ham back line and I'm sure Ralph thinks the same

I'm hoping Jack starts tomorrow. Despite what some say on here, he's very comfortable on the ball - in my opinion along with Jannik our best ball playing centre half. People seem to forget second part of last season, he was immense particularly the Man City home game - Jack was imperious I think Salisu will come on in the second half for some minutes - hopefully with us in a comfortable winning position.

Some people are laughable on this forum, slagging certain players off. Ok Redders might have been a bit off colour today but my word get behind him. He's only just come back after injury and scored a super goal last week

Pleased with the overall performance. We deserved at least a draw. Hoping the injury to Ings isn't too bad. Vestergaard was MOTM for me, he was immense again. Theo and KWP were very good too. It was good to see Tella and N'Lundulu get some minutes too We move onto the next one on Boxing Day. Enough said about Mike Dean the better! He was awful, gave us next to nothing. Should have booked Cancelo in the first half for a blatant foul on Theo but didn't. But booked Prowsey for his first challenge! You couldn't make it up.
