I don't think it can be argued with. The top 5/6 seem to be breaking away from everyone else however the 'lower' 14/15 teams seems to be getting closer to each other's ability. From Stoke in 8th, to West Ham in 20th, there is a gap of just 13 points. With Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Spurs you will never get just a two horse race like Barca/Real and the money.....well no other league will come close.

I'm half expecting a fairly 'big name signing' at some point during the summer - One which will make the rest of the league sit up and note that we don't plan on hanging around for too long!
