Probably wouldn't have been happy playing second fiddle to Larin.
-
Who?
-
I've heard he can play all three at the same time!
-
Rak-Sakyi's £4m deal to Charlton fell through earlier in the summer. I wouldn't be opposed to selling Edozie for £4m and using the money to bring him in.
-
I can't say I noticed any booing on Saturday.
-
You also said "I don't like all these new fangled descriptions but if we have to use them..." So if you're going to use these silly categories, you're wrong. JWP plays a more advanced role and that's how he's capable of getting goals and assists like he was getting at West Ham.
-
JWP is not a 6. WHU fans bemoaned the fact he was moved into the 6 role in his second season and never looked effective for them. His first excellent season for them was in an 8 role.
-
Oh, well then he won't be joining us.
-
We're working down the list. Replacing THB with an 18 year old would be concerning.
-
Unless we ask for a stay of execution while we launch an appeal.
-
I hate to say it but I'm still expecting a multi-month ban.
-
Isn't it obvious? Our vast European spy network has a new directive: unearth the darkest secrets of our transfer targets and build leverage dossiers to ensure compliance.
-
Wood is not a quality CB.
-
You have to assume we've heard positive noises from him and his agent if we're still making bids despite Viking qualifying for Champions League.
-
We got there in the end. Hopefully we're confident in getting our first choice replacement which appears to be Falchener.
-
That's more like it.
-
I get the impression Villa are using THB as a fallback option which puts us in a difficult position. All the replacements we've likely earmarked won't want to wait around. Even if he stays, rumours will be constantly swirling around him and all this will flair up again in January. It needs sorting this window.
-
They're quite positive about him from what I can see. If they deemed him useful last season, it's a good sign.
-
I love Scienza but his corners are terrible. JWP's excellent corners are the one thing Hammers fans have consensus on.
-
His role is to send quality corners onto the head of Schlotterbeck, help us get promotion and then break Beckhams free-kicks record as a 32 year old, coming on as a sub in the 85th minute on the last day of the season to send Saints into Europe with a double free-kick special against Villa.

Welcome home James.
-
Yes, now that Viking can dangle the carrot of Champions League football, I think we'll struggle to prise him away even with an offer of a higher salary.
-
He's not done he's only 31.

I'm a big advocate for bringing in experience and I think Sport Republic have undervalued it in the past but a 32 year old winger doesn't sound like a good idea. Would be a bit like bringing in 32 year old Nathan Redmond. Unless this guy can play right-back to cover for Bree?

Viking have just equalised from a penalty in their second leg Champions League qualifier against Dynamo Zagreb. Currently 3-3 on aggregate. We need Viking to lose so that they sell us Falchener and we need Dynamo Zagreb to win so that they sign Bazunu.
