It seems like every time we get a new manager, Armstrong is in their ear asking to play down the middle. A bit like the way Walcott always wanted play the striker role for Arsenal despite being much more effective out wide. Eventually Will Still will learn and he'll be back out wide or on the bench.

He's lethal at this level on the right side of a front 3 but completely ineffective down the middle.

Hate to say it but we're yet to see a good performance from a Will Still team. Get a bit of physicality and a focal point upfront and ditch the back 3.

Rebuilding the game from the ground up on a new engine leaves me wondering what they might leave out but those screenshots ease those doubts somewhat.

Based on the FM25 screenshots which showed a more simplified, tiled UI, it seems they've decided to shift their focus towards building their console playerbase. Fair enough, that's where the money is, but it's a major shift for the prodominately PC using fanbase of Football Manager.

Well done to the club for getting a new Tifo designed. Much better effort.

Wrexham is a real banana skin fixture and given we've looked unconvincing in pre-season, tend to struggle in our season openers and we've just come off the worst season in our history, I'm not confident of a win. I think they'll score first, they'll frustrate us and heads will start to drop. Will Still will make some changes, we'll equalise and it will end 1-1 with us ruing missed chances.

I always assumed he was a Grealish fanboy given the socks thing.

Would have been great for his career too. He would have flourished at Liverpool once we sold him instead of wasting his career at Tottenham.
