Jaaskelainen has been rubbish this season and Boruc is clearly a better choice. As for Monreal in the rip-off team, he was a massive upgrade on Andre Santos and worth the money for that alone. No way Kone should get in the bargain strikers ahead of Lambert either.

Honestly ? You couldn't have taken 10 seconds to find this instead ? -
In case anyone missed it, I've taken the Prem kits out of this thread and created one in the Lounge. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?44882-Premier-League-Kits-2013-14

Not just Saints' (whenever it pitches up), but everyone else's in the Prem for 2013/14 too. I'll create a few placeholders at the top and add the shirts as launched... Southampton : adidas, sponsored by aap3. Less said the better. Arsenal Nike, Fly Emirates. Home - amazingly is UNCHANGED Away -> Aston Villa Macron, sponsor Dafabet Home, Away, GK ->

Not a leak, just a made up shirt that doesn't exist.

Can't say I'd noticed. Then again I didn't notice the massive baggy kits we wore circa 2000 at the time, either, or how short shorts were until Spurs broke out the baggies in the 1991 FA Cup Final. Funny that if you watch that match now you only notice how short Forest's shorts were, not how long Spurs' were, when Spurs got plenty of stick for those shorts at the time. Equally, Scotland's Umbro 1986 World Cup kit with the white shorts with one navy hoop look positively subtle compared to some of the stuff we've seen in the interim, but they got b-antered too.

Any pics which remind you of Saints' first season back in the Prem ? I'll start...

I wonder if it might not have been the "entire" Northam, and that the half chanting the first thing weren't the ones chanting the second. Though as pointless wind-ups go, getting your mate banned from football because he's daft enough to go along with something... ooh hang on, best leave it there...
-
Please explain. We've finished in the bottom half of the Prem loads of times.
-
Taken me 9 months to notice, but why is Kevin Phillips listed as wearing #19 in that 2003/4 line-up graphic ? He only wore 7 for Saints and Higginbotham was number 19...
-
There's nothing alleged about the fact he's been arrested, or the fact that the crime is rape.
-
I'd be pretty keen to stop paying him asap, so it's not that daft an idea. Just make sure he agrees to the termination of his contract before he sorts out a move.
-
Can we remove the "allegedly" from the title, he's definitely been arrested for rape...?
-
I've fixed the problem myself.
-
I think the Liverpool away/third ones are the only ugly 90s styles really, you didn't get many "just plain with coloured trim and a subtle weave" styles in the 90s, there aren't many loud bold prints there (yet?).
-
Wow, this looks like a big ol' waste of time now...

FWIW, Wigan, Norwich and Chelsea all wore this season's kit in the final match of last season, none changed manufacturer brand or sponsor, but it has happened. Newcastle and Bolton both retained kit manufacturer and sponsor in 2010/11's last match but had new kit. However, at the end of 2009/10 Wolves wore this Burrda kit on the last day (9th May 2010) against Sunderland : When they'd been wearing this Le Coq Sportif kit all season : Same sponsor, different kit brand though. I pretty much stopped looking then.

Mr Wrong has never been more appropriate than now. Teams are permitted by Prem rules to wear their next season's kit in the final game of the season if the Prem Board approves it, and numerous teams have done so, including some instances of changing sponsor and/or manufacturer. There's no reason why clubs wouldn't buy out the last match of a contract if they had a better deal, or even run the contract with an option for the last match. Either way, it's already happened.
