The home shirt isn't plain on the back.

It will be plain coloured with shadow stripes, like the Blackburn keeper's shirt I linked about 6 pages back.

I wasn't a Saints fan until I first moved to Southampton aged 18. Why labour the point ? The non-striped shirts are massively in the minority anyway.

We are all aware of that, but as I posted a few days ago, I'm knocking 40 and as an adult I've only seen Saints not playing in stripes at home in the sash season, so you have to expect a bit of backlash.

To be fair, that is at least an original criticism. Congrats. I don't think "white with red pinstripes" is that similar to "white with blue pinstripes", though admittedly it would be a colour clash.

Actually they haven't changed either home or away socks colours from last season. This thread is amusing me now, there's not a single thing been said since the launch that wasn't said before it so far !

Phew. No egg face interaction. I really like the away kit and don't like the home kit. Nice to see all the other predictions coming true as well, though we haven't seen that model bird yet, and he's not very observant if she thinks the away isn't a reverse of the home! Alpine can retract his ridiculous knee-jerk attention -seeking blah blah.

Wrexham have not been in the FL for a few years now, Newport are a new club formed in 1989, neither has ever been told they won't be permitted to join the FL.
